"The staff is very nice and the location is lovely. I got a free gift (a small pouch) when I checked in. My room was spacious and had a kotatsu which I really appreciated because it got suddenly cold outside. I also was able to enjoy two really beautiful and relaxing outdoor private baths! Breakfast had an amazing view and was delicious. They even gave me a hot pack when I checked out because it was cold outside. I really like the area and I’ll definitely visit again. "

"Everything is done correctly and attention to details are second to none. I would suggest they limit the age of young children as they can be noisy and annoying screaming and running around the resort."

"Lovely quiet spot away from the crowds in Yufuin, excellent food and fantastic service. The hotel is older but has been maintained. The rooms are simple but clean, large and comfortable. As all rooms in Japan there is limited places to put suitcases and unpack fully. Lobby and restaurant are beautiful and very modern. Highly recommended. "
