Beautiful ocean view from our room! Room was small but very nice! Perfect for 3 night stay! Beach view was great as well. Close to the ferries! It was hard to find, but a gentleman close by helped us with directions. Several stairs to climb but we didn’t mind. Very friendly women at check in! Great breakfast selection, with a nice view from balcony!
Beautiful room overlooking the sea. Wonderful staff and very close to everything. Highly recommended.

Liked: Room comfort
Disliked: Staff & service
Everywhere in the room was dirty, dusty, and although it had a nice view, the breakfast wasn’t good at all. We were supposed to have someone help us bring the suitcases up, but there was no one available, so we had to find someone ourselves and ended up having to tip them. But it was in a good part of the city.
We arrived by night and booked the room with sea view. We were so happy seeing this. And you can directly look down to the only bar in Amalfi which is only a 5 minutes walk away. The bathroom was super nice and the view while having breakfast as well. The only thing I wanted to mention is the breakfast possibilities. If you’re vegan or vegetarian there aren’t many options and the only option is white bread or cake. But later we found out it’s pretty common in Italy to have such a breakfast, so we don’t mind that. Altogether it’s a super nice and beautiful hotel where you can enjoy the view and be directly in the city.
The location is great, very convenient and close to a lot of things—very centralized. You just gotta get past the 77 stairs. Has an amazing view, and the terrace is really nice. Not sure if all/most hotels in Amalfi are like this because of how old/preserved they are, the “breakfast” is more like a continental breakfast with some pastries, cereal, juice, coffee and yogurt, the shower doors weren’t sealed over the tub, so the water leaked all over the floor, when I notified the front desk and requested it be moped up, she said she would ask-it never got moped up it just ended up air drying. They charge for extra towels, they don’t have beach towels available to take down to the beach, the ac doesn’t work well, luckily we were able to have the window open often just beware of mosquitoes. If you’re looking for a place just to sleep and shower with a centralized location, this is a good spot. If you prefer a place to spend some time in while also exploring, this may not be the hotel for you

Last minute booking turned out great. Hotel had private rooms with a fantastic views and breakfast for a decent price right in the heart of it all.
Good central location, very quiet during the night and early mornings. Clean.Very basic breakfast. No milk alternatives.

Good spot close to the beach, but the AC was not working and room was full of ants, and wasn’t given shampoo & body wash packet on one day or toilet paper.
Staff was helpful. Parking guy was on time. Luggage service was a bit delayed but it is understandable as people have to carry you bags 77 steps up to the B&B.
Tipping very appreciated. At check out car was waiting at plaza on time. Luggage was a bit delayed as one guy have to carry two bags from B&B down to plaza. That was ok and we have to call to reception for status. Nice place.
Don’t waste your money at this place, stay at a different hotel. Air conditioning was not working and staff couldn’t care less. They were extremely disinterested and unfriendly. Hotel was in a loud area which made sleeping at night difficult too - needed an open window with A/C broken. Breakfast wasn’t great either compared to other hotels I have stayed at in Italy.
Staff and service is horrible! We think we found the most unhappy woman in Italy and she works at this hotel. So moody and seems angry a lot of the time. We booked the baggage pick up and no one showed up. Bathtub did not have a plug and she said it is broken. There is no air conditioning, no matter what they say. Just the attitude of the staff made our stay awful.
We stayed here 4 nights and the air conditioner did not work a single one. We slept with the windows open but it was still very hot. The bathroom lights were too dim, we did not receive shampoo/shower gel packets on the first day we arrived but maybe it was overlooked since we never mentioned it and we actually got them on the following days. The location was great, the views from our room and the shared patio were amazing. The breakfast was pretty good and the staff was friendly imo. The hotel was small but pretty cute. The 77 stairs is normal in Amalfi , not too big of a deal honestly as this hotel is in a prime location with multiple restaurants/shops nearby. I would stay again in this place if they fix the AC.
This hotel was beautiful. The views were superb overlooking the sea.
It had a fantastic shower with full water pressure I’m used to back home. Plenty of hot water. Nice TV and table and chair in front of the big window.
The check-in was east once I arrived. Chiara was very nice, and even gave me a dinner recommendation which turned out delicious. She and the lady at check out were both so nice and assured me that holding my bags after checkout was no problem. This saved me so much hassle.
The flight of steps isn’t bad at all, they are wide steps so you can easily take breaks as you need. In fact, the only trouble I had was finding the entrance to the steps. You must enter a narrow alleyway that leads to a small Piazza. From there you will find the bottom of the stairs. From that point the rest of the trip was so fantastic.
Grazie Mille a Hotel Croce di Amalfi. You made my trip possible. :)
