Quiet hideaway in Amalfi

The apartment was compact, but very comfortable for our family of five. A few flights of stairs removed us from any street and tourist noise. It was fun to open up the apartment to the balconies with a nice breeze and peeks of the cathedral bells ringing.

We had a wonderful stay in Amalfi! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and in a fantastic location. It’s just a short 5-minute walk to the beach and conveniently close to all the shops, restaurants, and everything you need in the heart of Amalfi. One feature we really appreciated was the washer, which was especially helpful after several days of traveling. It has a couple of terraces to check out the views outside but the duomo was under construction so it wasn't that appealing. A special thank you to Federico, who arranged transportation to pick us up from the Salerno train station. It made our arrival so much easier and was greatly appreciated. One piece of advice for future travelers: pack as light as you can! Amalfi’s streets are beautiful but made of cobblestones, and the town is built on hills. Reaching the apartment involved walking uphill and then climbing three flights of stairs, so large, heavy suitcases can be quite challenging to manage. Thankfully, Amedeo helped us with one of our bags, and my husband carried most of the weight, otherwise it would have been very difficult. Overall, the location, comfort, and hospitality made this a great place to stay. We’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Amalfi—just be sure to travel with lighter luggage, and you’ll enjoy your stay even more!

Wonderful stay and great location for the family.

We enjoyed the location and this flat was great base for the week. We could easily get to restaurants, gelato, the busses and the beach.
