We had Asia as our Hostess and she was Excellent ! She was attentive and had everything and more in order for us. She answered all our questions and helped us in every way possible. The Resort is so Lucky to have a key personal and person on their staff. Highly recommend. 165 stairs to rooms

Asia and Tarik were unbelievably nice and helpful. I have never had such good service. It’s 148 steps down and 148 steps back up, but was so worth it. We had the junior suite which is off by itself and secluded. Asia called us a week before and the morning of. She met us at the top of the stairs and walked us down to our room and took took the time to explain everything and answered our questions. The view is one of a kind. This is definitely a must.

We loved our stay! Salvatore, Angelo and the entire staff were fabulous. The breakfast was excellent and they had accommodations for my dietary needs (gluten and dairy free). The view is worth every penny! We loved the private water access and hot tub. The walk to Amalfi is beautiful and there are amazing restaurants just nearby as well. We definitely recommend!

This is the BEST hotel in Amalfi. The staff is genuinely so kind and truly care about ALL of their guests and really treat you like family while you are here. The breakfast is phenomenal. We enjoyed every single aspect of this hotel. The views are absolutely incredible. Really will recommend this hotel to everyone going to Amalfi. What an incredible stay and hope to be back

This villa is the ultimate!!!! we had an incredible time staying here. So much to offer and more!!!!!! It is just like the pictures!!! A big shout out to Sal, and all his staff. Salvatore and Gerardo were exceptionally good hosts. The accommodation really nice, clean, good views and personal service. The stairs keep you in shape but Gerardo insists helping with the bags, so thats no problem. Breakfast was excellent and the setting beautiful. We arrived by car and that is not the best in Amalfi because the streets are very narrow and parking spaces are not easily found. Next time we will arrive by boat taxi. :)

We had a very lovely experience, thanks to the special attention of Salvatore, Angelo and all the staff of Villa Santa Maria. The location of the hotel is exceptional and being able to walk to the ocean and swim is very special. Loved all the steps on the property. It would have been nice to use the sauna but it was out of order. Otherwise everything was perfect and I would definitely come back and recommend.

Amalfi’s hidden gem

Our stay at Villa Santa Maria was absolutely unforgettable. Even with just 2 days and 3 nights, the concierge, Salvatore, made us feel welcomed right from the start. He personally guided us over the phone upon our arrival in Amalfi and remained readily available throughout our stay—whether it was helping us with directions, recommendations, or even navigating the local bus schedule. We stayed in the Junior Villa Suite, which offered plenty of privacy, stunning views, and a relaxing hot tub. Breakfast was delicious every morning—don’t miss ordering the fruit of the day! Overall, we would gladly return to Villa Santa Maria on a future trip to Amalfi, thanks largely to the exceptional hospitality Salvatore provided.

I didn’t realize Italy was actually this amazing. Salvatore and his team were super friendly and accommodating. I brought my 74 year old grandma here and they treated her like family. Don’t have anything to complain about. Are all Italians this amazing?
