"At check-in we asked about the beach and pool. They said since we booked through Hotels.com (Expedia), both had daily surcharges. "We had beautiful large luxurious rooms looking out to sea over the beach and promenade. The staff were welcoming and efficient. The dining room is superb and clearly a favorite with locals. The staff there were very helpful recommending very good €20 wine. Food was delicious. Breakfast with Francesco and Sylvia was fun and a perfect start to the day. Fresh squeezed orange juice by Sylvia a favorite. Francesco made perfect coffee and omelets to order. We loved the bathroom and luxurious bath and separate colorful shower! We used the time to relax after touring round Sorrento and Napoli. Much to see in Lamezzia and with easy access to Tropea by train!"
