The Space:

Our duplex on South Harrison Street is the whole property, both sides together, set up for families and traveling groups who want two complete homes under one booking. The full duplex sleeps up to 8 guests, with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms total split across the two sides, four beds in all.



Each side has its own private entrance, kitchen, and living space, which is the kind of setup that works for two families traveling together, parents and adult kids who want their own door, or a small wedding party where the bridal side and the groom side want their own room to get ready in. The bedrooms come stocked with fresh bed linens, and the layout sleeps up to 8 guests total comfortably.



Each kitchen is set up for the basics. Refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, and the essentials so a quick family breakfast or a heat and eat dinner is easy. The home is family and kid friendly through and through, suitable for children ages two to twelve and infants under two.



You also get a TV, Wi-Fi, washer and dryer, heating, and air conditioning across the units. The duplex is on a quiet residential block near the Amarillo MedCenter area, which makes it a practical choice for families in town for medical reasons as well as the general traveling family trip.



The property sits at 700 sq ft total per the listing record, which is the compact, efficient kind of stay where the two sides give you the flex of more bedrooms without paying for square footage you do not need. We love hosting families and small groups here.



Guest Access:

You have the entire duplex, both sides, with private entrances on each unit and no shared spaces with anyone outside your group. Self check in is from 3pm with personal smart lock codes sent ahead of arrival, and check out is by 11am. The arrival instructions go out a couple of days before your trip starts.



The Neighborhood:

South Harrison Street is a quiet residential pocket of Amarillo, close to the MedCenter area which makes this duplex a practical choice for families in town for hospital visits at Northwest Texas Hospital, BSA Hospital, or TTUHSC. You also have easy access to I-27 and US-87 for trips south to Palo Duro Canyon State Park, which remains the classic Amarillo family day. Westgate Mall is close for shopping, downtown Amarillo is an easy run for dinner or a show at the Civic Center, and the Big Texan Steak Ranch makes for a memorable first night. West Texas A&M in Canyon is reachable for a campus visit.



Getting Around:

Amarillo runs on cars and this duplex is set up for that. The location off South Harrison gives you quick access to I-27 and US-87, so you can run south to the canyon, west to the airport, or downtown for dinner without hassle. Rental cars and rideshare work from Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport.



Other Things to Note:

This is the entire duplex, both sides rented together as one booking. No smoking anywhere on the property. We ask guests to keep noise levels neighborly after 10pm out of respect for the surrounding homes. Washer and dryer are available across the units. The home is family and kid friendly through and through.
