This property is everything it says it is - secluded, yet close to dining and the PaloDuro Canyon. House is very comfortable and cozy. We had a wonderful stay!

This cabin snuggled in the canyon was exactly what we needed after a tough week. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Comfy bed too!! I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.
Nice getaway on the edge of the canyon. Lots of wildlife came by the living room window. We saw deer, various birds, foxes. It was a lovely place to chill.
It was lovely having three bedrooms for my family and I. Super pet friendly my dog loved it. Walking in the morning and evening and seeing deer while drinking coffee was fabulous. My family and I had so much fun hiking in the gorgeous Canyon. We did end up having a crazy sandstorm, but thankfully, we had our lovely House to stay in and played games and had some fun family time. Definitely worth returning to.
We loved the property and how it was secluded. The house was decorated very nicely. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Just what we needed. We will definitely revisit next time we are in the area. And not far from going into Amarillo for sightseeing and going to the store. Also, Palo Duro canyon isn’t far away. The whole family was happy with our stay. We would definitely recommend!
This property is in a nice, quiet area. We went for walks and enjoyed watching the wildlife from the big living room window. It has everything needed to cook nice meals and felt very homey. We were very happy with our stay. I would advise, though, that the driveway is sand and not suitable for a motorcycle.
Great location while visiting Palo Duro Canyon. Nestled back into the canyon. Drive way was a little rough with our car, especially in the rain. But the house was clean and had everything we needed. Thanks for hosting us!
The directions to the property were great. It was clean and cute. The kids enjoyed the pingpong table and the basketball goal. There's a fire pit in the backyard and 3 TVs. It's about 15-20 minutes from the middle of Amarillo. Nice and secluded.
This property is in a perfectly quiet and secluded area for great privacy and solitude in nature. Yet, it is also close enough to town to make it convenient for anything you might want to do.
The home is beautiful, extremely clean, well stocked, and has lots of extra amenities like board games, hot teas, and lots of little special touches that the owners carefully thought to make available. The communication was fantastic and the owners are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again when I need a quiet get away. Highly recommend!
This property was super comfortable and exactly what we were looking for on our recent hiking trip. We loved the plate glass window in the living room and the fire pit area outside. We saw a little curious grey fox that was watching us (from a distance) and many, many deer. This place was fantastic and we will stay again when we are hiking up this way. One possible improvement-bird feeder in the middle of the plate glass window. So many species of birds, it would be really cool to see them up close!
Gorgeous sunsets, mule deer and sitting in a Canyon
Home is comfortable and as pictured. Wildlife is just outside the door or walking past picture window. Just wish it had a second bathroom or half bath. Driveway is mostly dust, needs more packed gravel. Didn't take our Trike off the trailer as not sure we could make it back up the driveway. Loved the back patio, in fact I want some of those patio chairs.
The house was the perfect location for our trip to Palo Duro Canyon. It was about a 20 minute drive to the entrance of the park, so we hiked all day then came back to the house to grill and relax by the fire pit outside. Each morning, there were deer right outside the window too! On our first night, we realize the propane tank on the grill was empty. I messaged the property owner, and they immediately brought us a new tank!
The house is exactly as expected and is situated in a private/gated area. The roads and driveway are rough, but we had no problems with our SUV. We wanted a quiet, clean place and this house met our needs. I was in town a cycling event and we didn't utilize the house for more than rest and recovery, but there were more opportunities we could explored. The TV had plenty of channel options, there were games in the living room and garage as well as a basketball hoop in the driveway. Communication with the host was fast and nice. A short drive to town and a short drive to the Canyon makes this a nice option for your visit.
This is a lovely comfortable home that we very much enjoyed. My teen grandsons had a great time playing Wii and it was very close to Palo Duro Canyon. We saw deer right in the yard. The drive up to the house was somewhat difficult for my front wheel drive Palisade and I think it would be very difficult to navigate after a rain. This could be such a gorgeous neighborhood if they enforced any sort of restrictions and/or cleaned up abandoned properties and debris. I give the house and host 2 thumbs up but the neighborhood one thumb down.
Great location. Solitude and Privacy. Furry friends.
Great stay. Very relaxing. You don’t have to go straight up the “ramp” as shown in the picture. There is a less steep winding path to the left. The “ramp”did give me a chance to use the locking rear differential on my truck (that I never use) and I got the hang of it. (you have to take a run at it) There is only a Keurig machine. We brought our own coffee with grinder so that was a bummer. We only found the My K-Cup in the drawer when we were about to leave. Lesson learned as it seems so many people now use Keurigs. There is a gas station/convenience store not far away. We had mule deer and fox visitors.
We loved the house and locationClean, comfortable beds and living conditionsHad deer two days….that was greatOnly disappointment, hot water availability; two cold showers, heating water for dishes was quicker and easier in the microwave than waiting for tap water to get hot; maybe there was a trick we didn’t getOverall, great place!
