great location and overall a very nice property. Unfortunately, it seemed the host was not experienced, as many minor items were problematic. We arrived in record heat. No greeting at the home. We had groceries, and the refrigerator was unplugged. Only one fan for a three story, four bedroom home. The top floor rooms were uninhabitable. No trash bins in the house. Coffee pods did not fit coffee maker. Advertised that a car could park in the back, but due to placement of bollards, it was impossible to get a car in the courtyard. Sticky handles on cabinet in kitchen above the stove. No ice cube trays. Almost no drinking glasses. Wifi instructions were missing. No laundry detergent. Host was unavailable, and his assistant was impolite. No dishwasher soap. Drawer in kitchen wouldn't close. Front door (which would have opened on to the Loire River) was locked, without a key. Ants at the back door after it rained, with no bug spray in the house. It seemed like we may have been the first people to rent the house.
