Great location between train station and downtown and ferry docks to Portofino, Fruttoso, etc. We based here to explore Cinque Terre, Portofino and Santa Margherita
Hotel features an excellent gym, helpful and engaged staff, clean rooms, solid WiFi and seems dog friendly. The property is well maintained and looks much younger and hipper than the 20 years it’s been around. I’d definitely would stay at LHP again.
Did not try food or drinks, but breakfast was 30 euros per person.

Staff were super friendly and kind. The room was spacious and bright and well appointed. Very clean. There was breakfast available and it looked delicious, however we chose to enjoy local cafe's. Would absolutely recommend the Poet Hotel.

Breathtaking view but poor service
The view and the pool are amazing. The food is delicious. However the service is terrible. Waiters, receptionists, barman are very nice but not efficient at all. We had to wait 30 minutes for our drinks by the pool, 30 minutes for our wine bottle and 45 minutes for our first dish at the restaurant. ...
