"The pictures on Expedia need to be update, they do not do the property justice. It was a nice place with a continental breakfast, clean rooms with a huge Tv and tons of channels. Even a bar/grill in the parking lot."

"Excellent all around! Teresa's communication was very quick, even letting us check in early on our day of arrival. The house was very clean and organized, stocked with everything that we would possible need. We made use of the high chair and pack & play for my grandson - which is something that is not easy to travel with! I personally loved the covered deck right off the kitchen, great lake views - peaceful and quiet! Ah yes, the lake - beautiful! BUT - there are 68 steps down to the lake (we counted) When you get down though, you have everything that you need - chairs, kayaks, paddleboards, a canoe, life jackets, and a lily pad! The kids loved being able to jump right off the dock after exiting the cars upon arrival! Overall - great house, great location, plenty of space, everything you need is included! The beds were a little uncomfortable though. We had an awesome time and made some great memories, I would recommend this place to anyone!"

"Absolutely perfect for our group stay. We had 10 adults and 7 kids, and the home’s spacious layout made it incredibly comfortable for everyone. We never felt crowded — there was plenty of room to gather, relax, and spread out.The cleanliness stood out immediately, and the furnishings were high‑quality, comfortable, and clearly well cared for. The AC kept the entire house cool even on the hottest days, which was a lifesaver with such a large group.The fully stocked kitchen was another highlight. It had everything we needed to cook big meals, and the space made it easy for multiple people to prep food at once.We also loved how close the property is to Clear Lake Park — it made it incredibly convenient for us to head over for swimming and picnicking. Being able to enjoy the lake so easily was a huge bonus for our group.Finally, the in‑person check‑in and check‑out with the host was seamless and genuinely appreciated. They were welcoming, helpful, and made the whole process feel easy.We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended."

"Beautiful spot, nice & quiet. Enjoyed all the birdlife! Comfortable beds. Nice big dining table for spreading out. Seemed like all the needed kitchen stuff, since we ate there the entire stay. Floor of shower was slippery, so be careful. LOTS of stairs in every direction is a bit much for older folks."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The location and the view of the lake was beautiful. I think if I had to list an improvement, I would perfer to have a little book when you walk in, that would list important information instead of notes left around the house. Stay Northern were very responsive and easy to work with before and during our stay. I would differently stay there again!"

"What a neat place to stay on Balsam. We had a blast at your Oasis and what a patio! Super neat cabin setup as well. Fit our needs for fires, cards and cooking! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay on the lake!"
