A wonderful tree change trip
Escape the metro chaos with a family detox at this wonderful farm retreat! Ded, our gracious host, made our stay truly memorable with her warmth and helpfulness. Plus, the cabin was impeccably clean, ensuring a comfortable getaway for all.

Lovely Farm Break
The whole family had a great time at the Farmstay, especially the our preschooler, toddler and dog. The farm animals were the highlight for the kids. They got to experience farm life first hand with a morning walk with Deb to collect eggs and feed the chickens, horses, goats, sheep and pigs. They loved meeting the dogs and cat as well on the farm. They also got to see the little lambs and calves this time of year too! Nice walks around the property to take with the dog and plenty to do and see in the area. At night time - have a look outside at the stars. Perfect place for stargazing :) Accomodation is nice, beds comfy, plenty of play equipment and secure area for the dog too. Lots of fresh eggs for dippy eggs and soldiers. Big thanks to Deb for being so helpful and making us feel at home.

Awesome getaway
Georgeus little cottage, spotlessly clean. Deb was a wonderful hostess, made us feel very welcome. Our daughter loved meeting all the farm animals, specially Pom Pom the sheep. Would definitely recommend it to friends.

Excellent Digital Detox Experience
We had an amazing time sans technology at the farm. NYE under the stars catching shooting stars was so calming to the soul. Deb really tagged our kids 4 and 2 with animal feeds and pony walks each day. Kids collected fresh eggs, jumped away on the huge trampoline while watching cuckatoos, hand fed goats, ponies, sheep, chicken... Deb was so caring and loved all the chats with her and watching the night sky while we chatted. Most of all, we four survived 3 days with strictly no surfing and it was a great joy for that!

Delightful home base for exploring the Pyrenees
This bnb provided us with everything we needed and more. The location was beautiful and quiet, close to plenty of good quality wineries and Ballarat. Our two daughters (9 and 7) loved staying at this bnb. They adored collecting eggs, feeding animals and leading Beauty out to graze each morning with Deb. They also loved the trampoline. Our dogs were intrigued by the array of livestock, which they could see but not touch. We will definitely stay here again if we can. Highly recommended.

Pyrenees Farmstay mum and daughter weekend
Booked this for a weekend trip with my mum for her birthday and it was amazing. Deb is the perfect host, great with communication and very helpful with ideas of what to do in the area. We were lucky enough to have two calves born in our first 12 hours on the farm and were able to get pretty close to them the next day when Deb took us a tour of the farm. Being able to bring the dog was the cherry on top. Couldn’t recommend more for those wanting to be around animals or catch a break in a relaxing environment

The owner Debbie has been very friendly and accommodating to us staying there. Showing us around the place and letting us interact with the farm animals. Wish there were more animals to see though

Hi Mathew, thanks for review. Not sure what other animals you would’ve liked to see? We have Alpacas, pigs, cows, sheep, goats. Kids got to lead pony out on road and feed chooks. Feed sheep and ponies and gather eggs. Sometimes farms just have cow and sheep. Thank you for staying. Kind regards Deb

Fabulous farm stay
A fantastic couple of nights spent at Pyrenees Farm Stay. Beautiful surroundings, wonderful host, lots of fun helping with the animals morning and afternoon. We all loved it, especially our children (4&6). Exploring the farm, meeting the animals, collecting the eggs, wandering along the creek, playing on the flying Fox, all fabulous. Lovely Farmstay
Thankyou for an amazing weekend! We all loved the farm, the kids loved being able to "help" with the animals. I loved the beautiful views and all the animals and all the freshly collected eggs! Plenty to do and see in the local area if you want to explore or you can just chill out in the very cosy cabin that has everything you need for a very comfortable farm stay.

Fantastic farm stay
Beautiful country environment, excellent accommodation and facilities. Lovely cozy home to stay in. Ute ride was the highlight I would say. Such a fantastic experience for us.My daughter loved moving the horses and feeding the animals.Not much luck with the fresh eggs though haha. Next time !! A true farm experience indeed. Deb is a beautiful person, very genuine and extremely friendly. Thank you Deb for all the arrangements and for the beautiful memories that you gave us. We will come back again !!

A great country experience
Perfect weekend away to immerse yourself into farm life and meet all the aminals, which included horses, goats, sheep, chickens & pigs. Accommodation was clean, comfortable & everything we needed to relax and unwind. Avoca pub was amazing, delicious Asian fusion food and traditional pub fare, and wineries only a short drive away. I would highly recommend this stay and will definitely be back. Rich

A beautiful host and a wonderful experience for our family.
Deb was a wonderful host and introduced our 'city slicker' children to farm life. The flat bed ute ride was such a fantastic experience for both children and adults, and the children loved moving the horses every morning and night between fields. The children also enjoyed collecting fresh warm eggs from the hutches and then eating them each day for breakfast! We left with memories we will treasure forever. Thank you Deb for a wonderful farm stay.

A wonderful experience
It's a lovely cozy home to stay in. My favourite part meeting all the animals, looking at the landscape and standing on the back of the Ute. Also looking at the art. Deb is very nice. I enjoyed playing on the trampoline and in the games room. By R, 10 This is my favourite holiday house ever. The best part was doing everything with the animals. I really liked collecting and then eating the eggs! By R, 7

Gorgeous farm, beautiful host

Fantastic getaway for families
This place has everything what families with young kids want! Deb is fabulous at involving kids to help with some farm work. We enjoyed our walks around the farm and back of the ute ride was definitely the highlight of our stay. We were already talkIng about going back there on our way home with kids. Fabulous few days away
We had a fabulous 2 nights away with our 2 Labradors. Deb couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the property, the kitchen was fully equipped and Deb not only had breakfast but kindly had things such as oil and condiments and many things you would have in your own kitchen that was really helpful. Such a memorable few days.
We had such a great time. Our kids are still talking about it weeks later. Deb is a brilliant host, couldn’t ask for much more. So many highlights including a ute ride ( which the kids loved) feeding the animals in the morning, and some beautiful walks. The outside fire was a perfect way to spend the evening too. Great retreat away from the city!
Great retreat away from the city! Debbie has been a fantastic host, constantly communicating and even switched on the heater and lights for us prior to our arrival. She really spent the effort to bring us around the huge farm and kept our kids very much entertained and educated. Enjoyable stay! Thank you Debbie!

Fantastic Farm holiday

Best Holiday ever
This property is situated in a beautifully scenic location. What makes this place extra special is Deb's hospitality. She has been fantastic since we came in. This place is neat. It has children's toys, magazines and novels to read. As soon as you enter, you will see information about the farm, places to visit nearby and takeaway info. The kitchen contains organic olive oil, salt, sugar, tea, and milk, and breakfast includes - bread, bacon, butter, sauces, and fresh organic eggs. There are pans, pots, hot chocolate, instant cappuccino sachet and take away coffee cups. My five year old son had a great time feeding lambs, goats, ponies and chickens. He went multiple times a day to get fresh eggs from the chicken coop. He also loved talking to Deb. Deb took us on a ute ride to show her acerage, which had a stunning view. We saw cows, lambs and horses on the field. We talked a lot. It felt like we were at our friend's place.We also shared our love for organic gardening and worm bins :) We have been to so many places. This is by far our best holiday ever. We will be visiting soon here. Also, Deb is not just a great host, but also a wonderful person to talk to. THANKS DEB. YOU ARE AMAZING.

Best farmstay experience
Deb has been an excellent host and the children warmed up to her very quickly. She has been very thoughtful to involve the children in the feeding of the chickens, goats, lamb and collecting of eggs daily. There’s plenty for children to do- swings, trampoline, flying fox, games room with balls, Table Tennis table etc. The ute ride to tour the farm is also a highlight of the stay and we have been blessed with such lovely weather.

Our farm stay was awesome!
We absolutely loved our time on the farm. It was everything we hoped for and more! Deb was a very friendly and amazing host. Excellent place to stay with our 6 year old Son. He loved feeding all the animals, the trampoline and the tour in the back of the Ute. We were especially lucky to visit when Deb was hand rearing 3 one-week old lambs…they were adorable and we got to bottle feed them. So cute! The view from the accommodation is stunning. Eating breaky with the sun rising over the countryside is delightful. Deb has the cottage well stocked and we loved collecting the eggs from the chickens daily and eating them! Overall a wonderful stay and a great escape from the city. And an enriching farm experience for our little man. Thanks Deb!

Fantastic family stay
From the moment we arrived, Deb was a generous, kind host who offered a lot of her time to ensure our family (incl kids aged 9-14) had the best experience. There was much more to do than we were expecting with opportunities to go on the morning walks to feed the animals, massive trampoline, swing and campfire. We stayed for 5 nights and found it to be a great location to explore the tourist activities in the area including Halls Gap Zoo & putt-putt (1hr drive) and Soverign Hill Ballarat (50 min drive). It was also set back from the main road in a beautiful setting, Overall it was an unforgettable experience and we would love to visit again one day. Thanks Deb (Ruth haha)

Perfect weekend
We stayed for a short get away with our dogs. Deb made us feel extremely welcome. Giving us a tour of the working farm was a great experience, as was patting the horses that come right up to the accomodation and eating the honey and eggs fresh from the farm. Highly recommend

Everything we hoped for!
We were so happy with our stay at Deb's farm. Deb was a lovely warm host who is so generous with her time and happy to answer all our questions. Deb has thought of so many helpful things for the cottage (games for the kids, books, magazines, reading lights - everything to create a warm inviting space including her son's lovely artworks) and the new trampoline was fabulous and still talked about by our kids! But best of all we loved feeding the animals with Deb and getting to see the farm and those happy pigs. We hope to come back in another season. Thanks Deb!

Perfect Family Getaway
We had the best time on the farm. Our children aged 10 and 3 enjoyed feeding the animals daily and collecting the fresh eggs to eat as did we. Deb is a fantastic host and the accommodation has been prepared to ensure you have the perfect stay. It was sad to leave as we had enjoyed the experience so much and had become familiar with all the animals. We all look forward to returning one day in the future.

Highly recommended farm stay - safe away from the worries of COVID
Deb's fantastic and had thought of all the perfect details for our stay. Deb greeted us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. Highlights for our family were feeding the animals, collecting the fresh chicken eggs, riding on the back of the ute around the farm, and taking walks around the bush. We highly recommend this farm stay for a fun, relaxing and safe holiday away from the worries of COVID. P.S. Daisy dog is gorgeous and lots of fun for the whole family.

Lovely stay
We all had a great time at Pyranees farm stay! Deb was really lovely and made an effort to do lots of things with the kids, they especially loved brushing the horses and the ride in the ute. With cows, sheep, horses, pigs, chooks and goats - was just what we were looking for. The accommodation was lovely with comfy beds and nice to have all linen and yummy breakfast provided. The best farm holiday gateway
We really enjoyed our stay at this accommodation ! Great unwind for us and an endless fun for our 5 yr old kid! She did not want to come back home ! 200% yes this place is recommended due to the below few points: 1. Calm, serene , peaceful - what We need in a holiday! 2. Kids friendly - The property inside has all that our kids needed, toys, books, puzzles, a black board on wall with chalks, crayons, water colour and the list goes on! The outside had chooks, horses, goats, Alpacas, pigs and again the list goes on! 3. The host Deb is wonderful , we were amazed by her hospitality, customer service and friendly behaviour ! Every morning our kid enjoyed feeding hens and goats , picking fresh farm eggs ! We enjoyed the farm visit with Deb too! 4. Check- in check out was easy, communication was great, rooms and bed was clean ,The kitchen pantry was commendable with attention to details! A big thank you To Deb and yes I would recommend this place to everyone!

A way to connect back to nature
We had a very good experience. Somehow this experience made us(myself and spouse) feel nostalgic about our childhood, when we used to travel from city back to village, during our school holidays, to visit grandpa and grandma and enjoyed all aspects of farm/village living.Thanks to amazing host Deb. The hosts have ensured that all the intricate details that anyone would need for a comfortable stay are taken care of, starting from groceries, breakfast options to different means to keep oneself entertained (boardgames, books, outdoor games etc). During our stay, we got a glimpse of what farm living probably looks or feels like. The range of farm animals we got to see was very exciting. Our kid loved it and can't stop talking about her experience. The experience of riding on back of ute to see the whole farm will always be etched on our memories for sure. Thanks Deb again for all your hospitality and for all the time and effort you spent in making our stay enjoyable.

Lovely and restful
Lovely place to chill and rest. Great walks in the area and safe place for our dog to be let out to look at the farm animals. Helpful host. Nice places to visit in the area for food and wine

Beautiful farm-stay!
This farm-stay was just what we needed! We were received with a warm welcome. The kids had a wonderful time meeting and feeding the animals. The fresh air and open space was very therapeutic. What a wonderful weekend! Thank you Deb and family for taking care of us!

Great Time Despite Covid Lockdown

Best family holiday, fantastic in every way especially if you have a fur baby.
Deb has been absolutely wonderful, from questions answered when I booked, to her friendly welcome. My 5 year old son wanted to stay in the house with her as he liked her so much, ha! She took us out on the back of the ute to explore their property, such a great experience, the views were amazing. Lots of cows & sheep’s to see on the way. Saw the house her husband grew up in, their children are 5th generation, pretty cool. We fed the lamb warm milk with a bottle, fed the chooks, patted the naughty goats, cows & horses. It was really the perfect stay. The views around the property are amazing. We went exploring & we’re able to have our dog off the lead, the boys loved that, collecting different rocks on the way. The house has all the cooking facilities & everything you need to cook for the family. We collected eggs, bacon, bread, milk & cereals, butter & condiments all supplies. The beds were so comfortable!! Big plus! Couldn’t recommend it more highly. We will be back for sure!! Thank you Deb & Vinny

fabulous farm stay
The cottage is cosy and comfortable, with supplies for breakfast and some basics. Deb and Vin are lovely. We very much enjoyed feeding the animals each morning. A beautiful spot for a short break.

Fantastic family friendly farmstay
We stayed for 3 nights at Pyrenees Farmstay with our 3 year old daughter and loved it. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed. Deb was an amazing host and took us for a tour of the farm, meeting us each morning to feed the farm animals and collect eggs. Highly recommend Pyrenees Farmstay for families. We're looking forward to visiting again.

Great farmstay and hosts, looking forward to staying again!
Great little cabin on the farm. Fed the goats and little lamb everyday, horses and chickens too! Wish we had more time there as could have done lots of walks and exploring. Very handy touches in the cabin, bits and pieces in the kitchen that usually don't get supplied. Looking forward to staying again, in what is a beautiful part of Victoria.

Perfect weekend away
We had a fantastic time staying on the farm. Deb made us feel right at home from the moment we checked in. My 5yo had the best time feeding the animals and going on the ute adventure around the farm and he didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back again!!!
