A Unique Stay with a Cinematic Vibe If you’re looking for a cookie-cutter hotel, this isn't it! The aesthetic is fascinating—a striking Gothic style with corridors that feel like a high-end hospital ward straight off a movie set. While the atmosphere is a bit moody, the rooms themselves are impressively quiet and very spacious, providing a great sense of comfort. We also thoroughly enjoyed the excellent breakfast spread and generally good onsite facilities. There were a few technical hiccups during our stay, however. The steam room was a bit of a letdown as it produced very little steam, and our room seemed to have a "ghost in the machine"—the electric curtains had a habit of opening randomly in the middle of the night. We also found the TV unplugged upon arrival, likely because it shares the same quirk of turning itself on and off.
