We really enjoyed staying here. The apartment is spacious and was very clean. The location is excellent! We hardly used transit. We walked everywhere. We were glad that we had our woolies. Because it is such an old building, it was a bit drafty. We had some trouble getting the place warm enough. Christol was very helpful. We would stay again.

Great fun to stay in apartment across the hall from my grandchildren. Set up was perfect. My daughter has already recommended Dutch Masters to a couple of grandparents wanting to visit Amsterdam with family. Great location with all kind of stores around the corner.

It was a pleasant place to stay — quiet, good housekeeping, had all the features that I needed, great location — but for the price it was a bit disappointing. The bedroom was tiny and the lighting in the living room was not adequate for reading.

This is probably one of the best apartments we’ve ever stayed in. The place was immaculate and perfectly located. We were in the Karel Appel apartment which is on the top floor. Gorgeous canal views from the front and a large deck at the back with views of De Rijksmuseum. They provide everything you need and Christel was amazing to work with. Very good at prompt communication and answered all of our questions. We were surprised when arriving back at the apartment after a day out and found that someone had come in to take our trash but they were happy to stop doing so once we asked. Most visitors would probably love that service so I don’t consider it a problem of any sort. The only issue we had was the steepness of the stairs. We counted almost 80 stairs from the ground to the bedrooms and some of them are almost sheer vertical. Don’t be like us and show up with half a dozen large heavy suitcases. You’ll hate yourself for the entire first day. But overall, we loved this apartment so much that we will definitely stay there every time we’re in Amsterdam. Heck, I’d buy it if they’d let me.

We LOVED this accommodation, and I would stay there next time. Use their airport transfer. That was seamless and the owner met us to let us in. We loved having more space than a hotel, with the security of a hotel booking. The location is PERFECT.

The Vermeer apartment is gorgeous. Great view, comfortable bed, large bathroom, nice kitchen, 2 bedrooms, lots of space. Safe, quiet friendly neighborhood. GREAT location. Everything is walkable: 10 minutes to the museums and park, 15 to the palace; 25 to the Central Station. Right on the canal- such a relaxing neighborhood. Lots of cafes and soup and sandwich shops around the corner. Lange Leidsedwaarstraat is just 2 blocks away and full of fantastic restaurants. The Albert Heijn grocery store is very close on Vijzelstraat. Sarah took such great care of us- arranging taxis, giving clear instructions about appliances, answering texts quickly and at all times. Michel was often on site and very helpful. We were very happy here and enjoyed our trip immensely.

Lovely, well equipped apartments in a 17th century canal house. It has a fantastic location that is within walking distance of Amsterdam's main attractions. I highly recommend Dutch Masters apartments.

The garden and garden view was a bonus . The large picture window with leadlight was a beautiful feature of the Van Gogh room . However the bedroom was very cramped and it’s never easy when access to a double or queen sized bed is on one side only. There’s nowhere to put suitcases. The bathroom was very basic but the washing machine was handy. A big plus was the helpfulness and responsiveness of the staff. Overall I think you’re paying a high premium for a canal location in the centre of Amsterdam. Not as luxurious as I had hoped for the price.

Hidden gem in Amsterdam
This place was perfect. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Location was ideal. Bedrooms small but living space was huge and overlooked the canal. We walked everywhere from the apartment - I’m so glad I found them!

Great location and the property is very well maintained. Walking distance to anything you may want to do in Amsterdam. Property is located in a nice neighborhood that is close to the shops and restaurants and attractions but also far enough away to not be hectic or loud.

The apartment was better than expected. Very clean, bed was comfortable, large clean bathroom and the kitchen was well equipped. It was in a quiet area, on a canal and in walking distance to everything. Our garden access and view was wonderful. The staff was prompt, very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend and would stay again.

Location is the best! Within walking distance to excellent restaurants and museum plaza (15 minutes). Canal view from window is beautiful. Great customer service. Book the airport pickup service. It's worth it.

I loved it! But beware, not a hotel.
Note, this is an apartment not a hotel. No reception. You have to call (make sure you have an international phone) to arrange for them to meet you. If not, the property management is across the street and you can walk there. They are GREAT! Also, no elevator, rooms are up steep stairs (like climbing a ladder). However, the rooms are very nice, very quiet, has a well appointed kitchen, washer/dryer, comfortable. In a residential area, but walkable to everywhere. Rooms overlook a beautiful garden. I loved it!! I am definitely going to stay there again!

Apartment with a View
The apartment had 2 bedrooms and was very comfortable and spacious. It was on a canal and very central to everything. It was only 15 minutes to walk to the Dam in one direction and 15 minutes to the I Amsterdam sign in the other direction. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Highly recommended. Since there is no elevator and the stairs are steep, some of the units are not suitable for older travelers or people with mobility issues.

Great Location in front of a canal. Quiet neighborhood, walking distance to museums, restaurants and public transportation.

Fantastic apartment in the canal district. We love to walk everywhere and this apartment was right in the middle of everything. Five minute walk to the Rijksmuseum and about 15-20 minutes to Jordaan neighbourhood. Safe and secure.

Good location, mostly 10-15mins walking distance to most museums, beautiful canal view, quiet and safe area, good communication with the management, very helpful! Be aware, houses in Amsterdam has no elevator, very narrow and straight steps, also since it’s near the canal, mosquito comes in to the house!
