Using your phone as door key works well. Drawers under bed were needed as so little room to move once actually in. Did not get sent the email to check in during the day, so had to get that resent, staff were helpful in sorting that out."

All of the city’s large parks, including Vondelpark have great playgrounds to keep children occupied while enjoying the fresh air. Rembrandtpark, situated in the South-West area even features a petting zoo with goats, bunnies and horses.
Amsterdam has plenty of museums to choose from and some are perfect to visit with children. The Nemo Science Museum has lots of fun interactive exhibits that the adults will like as much as the kids!
If you are travelling with older children, then make sure to visit Anne Frank’s House, especially if your children have been studying the book at school. Some parts of the tour can be upsetting but you can skip certain parts depending on your child’s age.
