Lot of noise outside my room, doors slamming and smoke alarm going off early in morning. Non smoking hotel with hallway that always smelt like smoke. Laundry closet near my room and staff were loud when working in the room. My view was of a construction sight with cranes. Actually room was nice but that was it.

The bathroom had see thru door next to the bed. I asked for heating in the room for 3 days and i got no help, my girlfriend couldn't stay butt naked and that made me sad. Other than this, it was awesome, clean, no funny smells

시티센터에서 가깝고 공항에서도 멀지 않아서 위치가 좋았어요 숙소도 깔끔했습니다 아레나역에서 가까워서 주변 도시 갈때도 기차타기도 수월합니다 다만 샤워하는데 바닥이 미끄러워서 넘어졌어요 양쪽 무릎이 시퍼렇게 멍이 들었네요 나이 있으신분들은 조심하셔야겠어요

Nice location and closer to the metro so easy to get into the centre of Amsterdam. Staff polite and friendly with nice rooms, which were comfortable.

It was really convenient to drive in to the hotel from the south. Park at the hotel and catch a metro just across the street which reached central Amsterdam in 17 minutes.

Overall it was a good stay and I would stay there again. Two things which the staff could work on : 1) the bathroom door in my room did not lock so must look at the upkeep 2) I was asked at checkout about a breakfast that we had not paid for, and later on it turned out to be a clerical / system error.

Comfortable but a little tired.
The foyer was looking a little tired. The reception staff were pleasant, although you couldn’t drive onto the car park without checking in first which was an inconvenience. The shower was broken and sprayed water all over the bathroom, however, this was fixed later in the day. Despite having a kettle there were no coffee or milk concessions, only teabags. This was not rectified on the second day. The shampoo in the shower was cheap and the soap was hand cream. The beds were comfortable but the room was hot and quite noisy if you opened the window.

Hotel joy is lovely and quite. Due to its position, travel into Amsterdam is easy by both train and bus. I would definitely recommend getting a metro card over Uber.

Such a bad experience !! I was at room 618 !!! The safe had no bateries under the bed was nasty not clean at all and one night by mistake i ringed twice for the parking place service and the guy start screamanig and almost jumped at me !!! I loved amsterdam and everything elese but this hotel was such a shame !!!

Great stay, clean rooms. Needs grippy mat for mattress and bed. Mattress kept sliding off the bed. Shower was great though and bathroom clean. Air con kept cutting out during the night however.

Friendly service and very clean
The staff at Hotel Joy were extremely friendly and accommodating. After a long flight, we very much appreciated being allowed into the room well before normal check-in time. Our room was also very clean and comfortable. My only complaint about the room was the shower. The water pressure and temperature control were great, but there was only a glass partition for half the shower, so water always got outside the shower, making the floor in the whole toilet area wet - a very minor complaint. Wifi was good. Overall, our stay at Hotel Joy was a very good pleasant one. The area right around the hotel, however, is mostly office buildings (and a few other hotels). For any shopping or food, you need to walk about 10 minutes to the ArenA area. The train station is right around the corner though.
