Hi guys, Thank you for the compliments, again sorry you didn't sleep well. I hope the other accommodation was more comfortable for you and the family. For light sleepers our boat might not be the best solution,as the walls are quite thin. Though perhaps earplugs could also be handy. All the best :)

Hi Darren, Thank you for the nice rating :) Glad to read you and your friend had such a good time and that the bed size was not a problem. The beds are smaller than usual, so some people who are not used to this might not prefer them. But fortunately most people don't mind too much :) Sorry about the noise. The walls are thinner than normal, as we are a boat. This is why we recommend people to bring, earplugs. (or by them from us for a low price) Please know for next time, we have a mobile phone that is on 24/7 and you can always call if people make too much noise in the sleeping area. We'll get up and tell them be quiet or, if it doesn't quiet down, remove them from the hostel.

Because all the rooms have their own sinks we've never thought about putting a sink in the bathroom area, But your suggestion about the antibacterial soap will definitely be taken into consideration. Thank you for the suggestion. Indeed our rooms are very small, because we are on a boat, but we are happy to know we successfully compensated this with our breakfast and friendliness. Hi Josee, Sorry for this terribly late reply to your review. we didn't know about this until today. Thank you so much for your kind words and high rating, we are very happy to know you had such a good time. Indeed our walls are much thinner than normal hostels, This is because we are a boat and we strongly recommend light sleepers to bring earplugs. If you forget, you can buy them cheaply in our hostel. If other guests are too loud or drunk, there is a phone number you can call 24/7 to report this and we'll get up to quiet them down.

Hi, We are very sorry to hear about the noise till 1:30. As this is a boat, the walls are thinner and the frame is made out of metal which makes it difficult to isolate sound. We ask all of our guests to be quiet after 22:00, also in the rooms because of this. As we don't have night reception we are not able to check for noise 24/7 but we have a hostel boat phone that's on 24/7 and reachable with any app. You can call to notify of us of the noise and we will take care of it. At least 1 of us sleeps on the boat and will take care of any noise caused. Happy to see you had a good experience nonetheless:) Thank you for your rating and your feedback.

Hi there, thank you for the nice review, it means a lot to us to read you had such a good time :) thank you for your warning about the sound, indeed sound travels easier between rooms, both because of lack of sound isolation and the fact the boat is made out of metal so it travels easier than in normal hotels. We do however sell earplugs very cheaply, so if you are a light sleeper and forgot your own you can always buy them from us for a good night's sleep:)

Hi there, Sorry we are not able to reply in Portuguese. We are very happy to read you had such a good time at our hostel and also happy to know the small room size didn't bother you too much. As for the internet, because we are a boat, we don't have a landline and the internet is through a mobile network. we have unlimited data but it needs to be top up every few GB. Please notify us if there are ever any internet problems so we can top up in time for you. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Sorry we can't reply in French properly but merci beaucoup for your lively review. We are very happy to read you had such a good time at our hostel in Amsterdam. We'll see if we can update our pictures to make sure other guests won't have the same surprise as you had about the rooms. We try to be open and honest about our room and bed sizes, which are small. to prevent unhappiness upon arrival. glad to know everything turned out for the better in the end :)
