Excellent location for exploring Amsterdam. Host David is a lovely chap. Quiet location, right in the heart of Amsterdam central. Clean, comfy room. Thank you!! We would return here without a second thought!

100% recommend
Perfect location, everything is on the doorstep. Great host, very friendly and helpful. Allowed us to leave our things there on check in and check out days. The room was very clean and had everything you could ever need. Given how close it was to all the nightlife you really couldn’t hear much which was great. Couldn’t fault it in anyway, if I were to go back to Amsterdam I’d 100% stay there

Good location. 17 steep narrow steps to get to your room and carry your suitcase, no lift. Not suitable if you have mobility issues. Owner lives upstairs, can hear footsteps every time and early morning. B&B as advertised, however no breakfast offered. Queried the owner, explanation is he cannot advertise accommodation under Hotel, instead advertised as B&B which can be misleading. Owner is friendly, overly priced. Not suitable for elderly people and with huge and heavy suitcases.

Thank you for the feedback, Steven. I’m sorry to hear that you haven't enjoyed your stay with us. Our goal is always to feel comfortable to welcome our guests. As we located the heart of Amsterdam, which is an old part of the city all the staircases are narrow then normal staircases, this how they used to build. As indicated on Expedia, we don't serve breakfast, under the city regulation we are not hotel therefore we cannot advertise the accommodation as a hotel. For this reasons we can only advertise short stay but on Expedia panel they don't have sort stay accommodation except B&B.We can see that you haven't said any negative in your room therefore you had a great time in cleanliness, bed and all in general. We always working to make our process even more efficient. We hope to have the chance to serve you

The location was fantastic and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was a little bit challenging to find at first but other than that everything was excellent.

David’s place is in a fabulous location, 5 minutes walk from central station. The room we stayed in was very clean, spacious & had a very comfortable bed. There was a bit of a mix up with room keys at check in but otherwise everything was great

Canal view is amazing. Location is great. Management is nice. But mattress is not good at all. It hurt ours back and we couldn't sleep. Also sound proof is very poor.

The properties location was so perfect and central. It was 5 minute walk from the station and 2 minutes from the red light district and other main attractions. We went for the canal view room but due to the central location wasn't ever really able to open the curtains as you have a lot of people walking past. Didn't have any issue with noise from the street but could hear people in rooms in the building walking around etc but didn't disturb us much. Overall a really great apartment in a perfect location. Would definitely recommend.

Everything, fantastic place. Great location for travels who sights see and very close to Main Street, very very clean and beautiful place, we recommend to anybody, David was very very good and easy to catch too, the place was so modern and everything that I needed

Great location! The room was comfortable and spacious, and we appreciated the electronic kettle for making coffee and tea. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return to Velvetamsterdam.

Amazing location, very clean and lovely room. Only problem was the noise from the room above woke us up before 7 every morning with lots of banging and crashing. Was a shame
