We understand how disruptive this can be to the overall experience and are always trying to do our best to aid in such situations, even if that is not always enough. Indeed, we do offer fans in the apartments and can try to facilitate extra ones if needed. As for a mobile air-conditioning unit - we only have an extremely limited stock that can be only installed by our technical department, especially in the apartments that face the sun during the hottest parts of the day. We apologize that this information has been provided for you too late and we were not able to remedy the situation. The whole team here at the Wittenberg is trying to make the guests feel right at home and we are so sorry to hear this whole experience created the opposite feeling. With the knowledge that the heatwaves come and go in the Netherlands, we are doing our best to invest in a bigger quantity of mobile air-conditioning units, which hopefully will prevent such experiences from happening again.
