"The location was perfect for me, it’s very central in Aveiro. I could see the boats on the canal right on my balcony, along with the bridges.. It was easy to get in even with no front desk. I liked that the room was blackout dark, it made for a good nights’ sleep. There was no parking in the building but the Mercado was close enough and it was about 6euro per day. The only thing I wish they would do is to get better and more comfortable pillows and bed. "

"We spent four enjoyable days here. Our hosts were very generous, giving us lots of local insight for exploring the area, as well as some fruit grown on their own property. We enjoyed relaxing in the sun by the pool, and all the flowers and trees in the yard. Definitely a beautiful spot to stay!"

"Great location. Close to the train station, the river and all the major attractions. Hotel Oslo handles the check in. You can go to their rooftop for the night view. No washing machine but a nice small laundromat is around the corner. "

"Really great property, quiet area. Carlos, our host, was very helpful, gave us lots of ideas for places to see & a little insight of life in Portugal. Lovely pool. lots of outside space. We prefer places a little out of town & this fitted the bill perfectly. Supermarket a short walk up the street. Enjoyed the evenings eating at the table outside, or by the pool."

"We had such an amazing time staying at Jorge and his wife’s property. The pool was amazing and sitting by the pool in the evening visiting with family was awesome. The family made use of the pool table and the froze ball game. We swam and really enjoyed it. My husband is from around that area and we have decided to stay there again if Jorge will have us"

"Staff were very nice. Rooms were simple but effective. Heating was working (some reviews dud not understand that there was a switch on the side as well as he temp control.) hot water also good. Fridge, basic cooking equipment plates etc. Bring a corkscrew and a small coffee percolator if you need them. Towels and bed sheets with a duvet all clean etc. "

"The house has a good location, close to the beach and to the city, with all services and shops near. We went by bus from Lisbon to Mira and got an taxi to the house. The accommodations are very nice. We had just a problem with clogging of toilets, but the owner went there on next day with products for us to use on it. The thermoaccumulator size is not enough for 12 people to take shower straight, so we had to organize turns for it along the day. In general we liked a lot to stay on the house."

"The house is beautiful and wonderfully appointed - even better than the pictures would have you believe. Location is fantastic - minutes from downtown Aveiro, two big supermarkets and the beaches, but still in a residential neighborhood. "Loverly villa with heated pool set in a quiet friendly neighbourhood. Village has small shops and bars, even a ATM. Added bonus , we were luckily there throughout the village festival celebrations which were amazing, excellent music plus a fantastic atmosphere. Ideal for families, having a car is beneficial."

"2 min walk across streert from train station. F riendly check-in and held our luggage so we could walk around. Gave us a map, directions, and food recommendations--hotel set in middle of lower walking area do perfect. Nice small terrace for evenings. Good varieties for breakfast including coffee machine that made multiple types of drinks. Our bathroom has step up into it so could be hazardous in the middle of the night."

"Out of the centre but easy walk in. Quiet. Value for money. Bar wasn’t fully open. Maybe early season. Rooms were comfortable. I had to dust the shelves in wardrobe as they were thick. Again early season & probably hadn’t been used. Breakfast cups dusty also. Overall a pleasant stay & would recommend. "
