"We had a wonderfull stay in this very nice house. We, a family of 6 persons (ages 17-56) had enough space, comfortable beds and everything was there to make our own meals even to bake of you’d like that. There was plenty of parking space sometimes right in front of the house, sometimes a few steps further. There was a supermarket nearby (less then 1 minute walk) and the place was perfecrly located to view everything there was to see in the Cairngorms. We had a great time.Communication with Sara and Mark went very smooth: our messages were always answered almost immediatly.Just 1 small minor detail was the shower: there wasn’t a lot of pressure on the water when taking hot water, which made it difficult to rinse our hair after washing. But we managed and it’s really just a detail.We really recommend this place and would like to stay here again if we ever return to this region!It was also our first experience with VRBO and a very positive one."

The property is NOT in the town advertised on Hotels.com. It is actually 15 minutes drive away from Grantown on Spey. Don’t be fooled by this. Otherwise the apartment itself was excellent."

"Definitely a quirky cottage with some sloping floors, mixed crockery and cutlery and some old pans.BUTAlso warm and homely with everything needed for a lovely stay. The bed was comfortable (and maybe almost new), the shower was hot and powerful, the wifi was good, the fire was great (although the house was warm enough without it) and the location was excellent.If you prefer a charming but quirky cottage to a boring cookie cutter apartment you won't be sorry"
