"Het is een prachtige woning op het Franse platteland. Bij warm weer is het binnen lekker koel. Het staat in een heel klein gehuchtje, waar verder geen voorzieningen zijn. Dat is het enige nadeel, wel heerlijk rustig. Ook voor stadjes en musea en dergelijke moet je wel een eindje rijden. De eigenaresse is heel aardig en spreekt naast Frans ook goed Engels."

"We stayed with our dog in Dannevoux from 27/12 - 01-01 to escape the fireworks in Holland and we had a perfect stay. The house has really everything you need; dishwasher, washing machine, fast wifi and a comfortable bed. The house is located in a quiet village with footpads leading into the countryside and woods. Verdun and other places of interest regarding WW1 are nearby. We would love to stay again!!"

"Had a very nice stay. Hostess was very helpful with a good knowledge of the area. The breakfast was copious and fresh. Quiet area of town and comfortable bed made for good nights of sleeping. "Ce gîte nous a permis de réunir la famille (petits et grands) pour quelques jours. Le fait que chaque chambre ait sa salle de bain est formidable. La cuisine est très bien équipée, surtout son four xxl et sa cuisinière qui sont très bien pour cuisiner des grandes quantités. Côté activités et cultures: la grande guerre avec la butte de Vauquois, ravin du génie, mémorial de Verdun, ou la cave de Joseph Perrier à Châlon en Champagne.... Ce séjour fut une parenthèse inoubliable."

"Beautiful old and charming hotel that is family run. This hotel is set in a small town very close by to a number of WW1 historical sites. The staff was very friendly and the meals served in the dining room were excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel if wanting to stay off the beaten path. Very comfortable and a great value
"This was a very large and nice room with a washing machine, at a very reasonable price. The hosts were very gracious and friendly despite the fact that we did not speak French and they did not speak English. It is located in a small village so it is very quite at night and you can get a good night sleep without any road noise. The room in was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast offered I’m was simple - coffee, juice, bread, croissants, and homemade jams (which were wonderful), but we knew this in advance. The coffee was very good!"
