There are a few runs for beginners, but this mountain is geared more towards the experienced skier. Come summer, the mountain biking and hiking trails will keep everyone busy. Regardless of how you use your days, the local restaurants nearby will not disappoint! For a day trip, don't hesitate to head into Anchorage, just 30 miles northwest.

Featuring a lofted layout, a unique spiral staircase, and a vibrant interior, this home is fun and ready to assist in making the best memories. After a day of skiing nearby, hang up your coats and gear and curb your appetites with a home-cooked meal prepared in the fully equipped kitchen. Featuring modern appliances, wooden countertops, and an adorable dining area, you will have everything needed to make and enjoy any recipe. Stargaze each night and head inside for a movie night on the TV until everyone dozes off to nature sounds outside. With all the comforts of home and more, no one will want to leave this perfect getaway.

Clean rooms. (The drain in the bathroom sink needs to be cleaned) Quiet. Great coffee shop nearby. Well stocked kitchen. Washer/dryer was convenient. The bathroom door was very hard to close and stairs were cute but noisy to walk on.

Great Stay

My friend and I rented this property for a wedding weekend in Girdwood and it was perfect! Close to everything in Girdwood, no issues checking in and the property was exactly as advertised. The space was well thought out, very clean and comfortable. Would highly suggest!

We will def be back. Well stocked. We re used to having to bring our own soap. Tp. Laundry supplies etc etc This place was tops Loved the vibe Location. Cleanliness. Beds. Towels linens. Kitchen and tools. Absolutely everything was ideal. See ya again 🤸‍♀️

We liked our stay, but had some issues.

Cons: dirty pots and pans, no screens on the windows (letting in fresh air meant letting in bugs), dirty heater filter that caused beeping all night until I googled and solved the issue the next morning, tapping coming from the bathroom that goes all night (unless you leave the bathroom vent on), hot water runs out quickly, washer/dryer took an absurd amount of time to dry clothes (hours), can opener didn’t work, tv remotes (3 of them) don’t see to work properly. Pros: comfy beds, plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 small kids, plenty of towels/sheets/pillows, close to hiking, close to Girdwood and Aleyeska.

Great little cabin

First and foremost, Sapphire went above and beyond to hand deliver items I had left behind at the cabin. While I did not expect to get those items back, I was so pleasantly surprised to receive them. It is a true RARITY when someone goes so above and beyond to make someone feel so prioritized. As for the cabin, it was in an exceptional location and in excellent condition. The only thing I would have liked was to have had coffee in the unit. It's not usual to have a coffee maker but have no coffee provided. I even brought my own creamer! But we ended up getting coffee down the street-no big deal. We had such a wonderful experience at this place and we will most definitely be back. And THANK YOU so very much for being pet friendly!! :) Loved the little cabin by the resort! <3

The cabin was very clean, well decorated, had all of the amenities that a person would need while visiting, and private. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of activities. We would definitely rebook on our next trip!

Sooooo cute! If I could live in this cottage forever, I would! It was cozy, clean, beds were comfy and an overall great vibe. Plus the bathroom was fairly large. The neighborhood was very quite and we heard no outside noise. I’d stay here again!
Dinnerware was included! We were able to bring food and make ourselves breakfast.

Summer at a Ski Resort

We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. It's out of the city, but reasonably close to many of the things we wanted to see. There were trails within walking distance and a small grocery store nearby. The place had all of the amenities we needed. The spiral staircase was a special touch, as we have one in our home as well.
