Great spot in Girdwood

Easy access and well managed and super clean apartment. The hot tub is amazing and a great way to start your recovery from a day on the slopes, or whatever your activities! The proximity to the Double Musky was great for a quick drop in and far enough from the highway to not hear the noise! Thank you for a great stay!

Adorable 1 Bedroom Perfect for Our Family of 3

Perfectly adorable place. Looks just like the photos. Beautiful woodwork and super clean. We walked to dinner directly across the street at the Double Musky and came back to relax in the hot tub after a perfect day of skiing. Hosts were very friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

Great Place to Stay

The place was easy to find, clean, and had what we needed. Was nice to have coffee grounds and creamer for the mornings. Only thing I would change is for the bedding to be washed in a scent free laundry detergent. I know some people love the smell of laundry detergent and dryer sheets, but to me (and my family) it is over powering and an instant headache.

Cozy Forrest BNB

Perfect little bnb tucked back in a nice wooded area - across from a wonderful restaurant (double musky) and a trail that takes you right into town. I’ve stayed in Girdwood plenty of times being an Alaskan resident and I’d have to say this is my new favorite spot. Jake and Rachel were great and i definitely will be staying here again!

Great place, little rule heavy.

Had a great time, very nice clean place, only gripe I had was there was an 11pm closed hot tub time that I wasn’t aware of when I booked and I don’t think people using it would disturb any other guests unless rhey were wasted making noise. Having said that, I get it if they were having issues with that a lot, just would have been nice to know before I booked since we usually like to go to the hot tub after a show when we are in town. Great place tho, you’ll love it.

Location, Location, Location outweighs some other items

Location was top notch, especially when skiing. We paid for 2 bathrooms and only one bath worked, of course not the master bath. I was told ahead of time that was all fixed. I would suggest a better cleaning service as their were cob webs, dust, dirty windows and some items on the ground that were overlooked. Missing piece on the microwave but it worked and was fine.

Location is good just few steps and you are in the center of town, yet you feel super secluded and away once you are in the compound. It’s and beautiful compound by creek. Place was clean and is relatively new so all feels like first time usage. Bed is comfortable. Place offers large windows with lots of natural light (summer visit). Internet was ok, but in my case that I need very strong one due to my type of job and that I was working remotely this was a bit of a challenge but I heard the following week it was been changed. So perhaps this was a temporary issue. I rate e place fantastic. My only constructive feedback is not about the property and place. But communication with owner wasn’t pleasant. I felt i welcomed when I informed About my challenges with internet and that it “was my problem” and the solution was that nothing could be done as all guest were fine with it and it was “me” and they could refund the unstated portion. I felt like they wanted me to leave. Eventually their IT guy came and realized that there was actually an issue, not “me”... In any case this left me feeling i welcomed so I loved following week for that reason. And one item that is important for travelers to know specially if they have kids and need a blender To prepare their food. There is no blender and I asked if there was one. They said that sadly there wasn’t any. So be mindful of this. All else was great. I provide this place a 4 of 5... The negative point on owner interaction. But not the place per se. I think it is a great property.

Waking up among the trees and the mountains is a dream! The bed is extremely comfortable and the full kitchen makes making meals super easy. If you don't feel like cooking, the world famous Double Musky Inn is literally right next door!

I had a great stay. Everything was a breeze in terms of check in and out, easy communication with great hosts. The view from the kitchen area towards Alyeska is a bonus. Wifi, streaming on to the tv, all the kitchen stuff I needed. If I make it back to Girdwood I will plan on staying here again!

Great place, great location

Really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very clean and the hostess was very friendly and nice. The community hot tub was nice and relaxing though it was in need of some attention (the water didn't seem to be filtering correctly). Overall we enjoyed our stay and had a very nice getaway.

Incredible Couples Getaway

My partner and I had an awesome time at this Aleyska ski-and-stay. The property was easy to find, extremely clean, the bed was so soft, and it was well-stocked with coffee and condiments to get us ready to go on early-morning, in-the-dark Alaska adventures. I would highly recommend this as a romantic, relaxing couple's getaway.
