"Beautiful, peaceful, spic ‘n span, we loved this place! And Bailey’s Harbor has only improved with time, unlike a few other DC locations that feel much more touristy than years past. This place is a gem!Tricky to find using Google Maps but Shawn provided excellent maps, and a quick response when we were bewildered. And he is actually working on Google providing better location services. Great host! One of our best vacation stays ever!"

"The listing led us to believe we could access the water from the property. It read “ On the beach,A rare beachfront property in the area - enjoy direct access to the sand and sea.” This was not the case. This property is very dated and in need of some TLC, but was priced accordingly. Location was great (except lack of beach/water access)."

"Claudia at front desk and other staff that were on the days we stayed at the Motel were outstanding! They accommodated our needs without hesitation and were very pleasant and professional. Gas fire in evening was very appreciated, having the option to sit at the bonfire by the water was a bonus! Areas to sit outside were perfect and we were able to enjoy the waves, and peace of the lake; THE BEST part of the stay. Had we stayed longer we would have enjoyed the pool, bikes and kayaks! (For sure will next time we visit). Also, we will be sure to reserve a room facing the beach. Location was perfect to enjoy the charm of Baileys Harbor by foot."

"The house was beautiful with all the starter necessities. I loved having some coffee pods already provided. This house is not for the handicapped. It could use some rails going up and down the stairs in the house. The beds were very comfortable."
