"Yhe host was extremely responsive go communication about items around the property. Pet friendly is an understatement. The owners, located next door, have some doggie bags there (still bring your own) and a separate garbage in back for used bags. Only, "warning" is if you have a skittish dog, their resident bundle of fluff is very friendly and will gladly say, "good morning", if you happen to go outside at 5:00am because your pup needs to go. Location is everything. My wife and I are not huge on wine, having stayed here for a race. But in every direction, we passed food, wineries, local historical locations, and more activities than you could ever do in a week. The single bedroom is perfect for a couple on the go, looking to be out and about more than staying in. Book a trip and there's bad weather? No worries. The host has plenty of dvds, games, and books for you to choose from on those days you may decide to lay low and stay in."

"We LOVED this little slice of heaven! So relaxing, peaceful, and perfect for our family. The washer and dryer was a game changer and made travel with little ones so much easier. "Out group of thirteen had a great time at this property. The house was spacious and well stocked. We really appreciated the numerous gardens/landscaping. There were several nooks to gather for games, puzzles, visiting. The kayaks/canoe were easy to launch and got good use. Next time will make sure to get the bikes out! We especially enjoyed the firefly walks, early mornings on the dock listening to birds and frogs and nightly gatherings around the fire. The property is close to Baileys Harbor so it was convenient for July 4th festivities. The boat parade on Kangaroo Lake was great to watch. Hosts were welcoming and accommodating."

"We always enjoy our stay! This is our 4th time staying here. I love the isolation but yet still close to everything. The cabin is cozy and has everything you need. The outside is very serine and quiet. Having Coyote Roadhouse across the street is awesome too!"

"We stayed in Cabin 1 for 6 days. We found it very clean, located right next to the lake. Kitchen was fully stocked with all needed utensils, plates, glasses, etc. The interior is well decorated. The washer and dryer was handy; fans were not needed as it was early June. The resort is very quiet, well maintained. There is a charcoal grill so bring charcoal if you plan to use. There is a Keurig coffee maker so bring bottled water if you plan to use. Overall we would stay here again."
