"It was peaceful and quiet. The owner and son were very polite and friendly. But there were no stuff in this hotel room. (No coffee, tea, sugar, toothpaste, shampoo, etc.,) There were 2 cockroaches and perhaps more we didn’t find :( Food was okay but it wasn’t free. At least 1 way airport shuttle could’ve been provided but I had to pay for both. The rooms smelled dusty. Broadband was horribly slow."

"This hotel is grand and doesn’t disappoint. The building is beautifully restored, the rooms are comfortable and the veranda areas are perfect for relaxing by the sea. Food and drinks are good and the service excellent. Once you enter the hotel, the bustle of Colombo completely disappears. Amazing value for money. "
