"To say that the photographs of the apartment were misleading would be a misuse of the term. Totally mis-representational would be more appropriate (it was a completely different space). On arrival, there was no-one there to give us keys and no-one answered the phone when we tried repeatedly to call. "hôtel immense, proche de l'axe routier, décor artificiel, impersonnel, ambiance particulière vu la population (tout le monde sait), personnel n’est pas désagréable mais on ne ressent aucune chaleur humaine, et même le soir, et le matin, l’accueil était assuré par des agents de sécurité : tout est dit ! Cela convient pour une nuit sans attente, mais clairement pas pour se sentir “comme chez soi”."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was very nice, and we appreciated having a small kitchen area. The location was fabulous - near all the old city sites and very close to the lake, and the staff was extremely helpful. We also appreciated the onsite parking. Very convenient."

"Good hotel with a few annoying attributes. The top floor with suites is only accessible by stairs which is not great if you have a lot of bags. You can also get trapped in the stairwell if you forget your room key. Also the wifi is terrible for some reason so working is an issue. Other than those issues the hotel is good."

"The staff was very helpful, the location is 20-15 minutes walking distance to core. There is AC in the rooms, if its still warm they will bring fans. The front desk is great and they care. This place has wifi, kitchen to store your stuff etc. A place for international travellers to feel comfortable."

"Parking was a bit stressful, when you arrive you are supposed to phone a number to get the entrance code - not possible if you don't have a French operating phone. The entrance was also tiny and a little tricky to navigate. Plenty of space in the room itself but it was a little run down and didn't look like the photos. Loved the free coffee and hot chocolate downstairs though :) overall a pleasant stay and brilliant location."

"Overall a good stay at this hotel and would return. Had a “charme” room and it was just like the photos with its little Juliet balcony overlooking the town. The aircon however wasn’t very good at all it was 35c when I stayed and the room can’t have been below 30c most nights had to take the duvet out of the sheet and just sleep with the sheets so don’t expect anything from the aircon. Was surprised to find a fridge but again this didn’t really keep anything cool. The sink wouldn’t hold water and the bath shower was slightly unconventional and definitely mold visible. I felt stuffy the entire stay but ultimately it’s an old building in the old town and it was a very pleasant stay. The stairs up to the 5th floor rooms are spiral staircase and very hard with suitcases, but on checking out we asked the reception to carry our cases for us and they did a great job. Thank you for a lovely stay"
