"Looks a bit dingy from the outside and in hallways. Breakfast area is in the Lobby but is clean and ok. Breakfast was waffles with all fixings juice coffee, a bit of fruit and granola bars. Better than some places but you get what you pay for. Room itself was small but sufficient. Bed was great, temperature control fine, bathroom small but clean and sparkling. Good for a quick overnight stay on the way home. Would stay again"

"Good, affordable spot for a quick stay. Front foyer smelt quite smokey but was fine in our non smoking room. Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff at front desk and at breakfast were very kind and accommodating. "

"The view was amazing. The food at restauraunt was horrible and the waitress perfume was so strong could taste it."

"Scent was overwhelming and lobby entrance was under construction and blocked. Room was clean and bed was comfortable but sofa and toilet were very low. Pool closed for repair which is why we picked this hotel. Staff was pleasant. "

"The VIEW here was amazing! The location is conveniently located in the Gorge area yet far enough out to be quiet and peaceful. The home was beautifully decorated, clean, warm, and inviting! It was easy to find, and communication with the hosts was thorough. The coffee and snack bar were nice touches. It snowed the day we arrived and the following day, which was BEAUTIFUL on the mountainside. The host shoveled the walkways for us, which was a blessing! Unfortunately, due to the weather, we didn't get to enjoy the nice deck like we desired. One of our favorite things was the big couch! We both ended up sleeping on it the last night because it was so incredibly comfortable! We would definitely stay again if we ever return to the area! "

"Location was perfect. I just had to put the leash on my dog and walk across the street to Hawks Nest S.P. Good local restaurants, New River Gorge N.P. and Babcock S.P. are a short drive away. The house is clean and stocked, including some thoughtful extras I didn’t expect. "
