Kittiwake is a newly renovated, Category C-listed townhouse less than a minute’s walk from St Monans harbour and the waterfront – a bright, contemporary base in the heart of this classic East Neuk fishing village. Tucked just off the street with its own ground-floor entrance, it also enjoys a private, south-facing courtyard garden that’s made for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine in the sun. Wi-Fi is included, and one well-behaved dog is welcome (terms and supplement apply).
Set over two upper floors, the first level is all about relaxed, social living. A spacious reception hall leads into a fabulous lounge/dining room with twin front windows, wooden floors, a comfy sofa and accent chairs, Smart TV, and a dining table for six. There’s even a small desk for catching up on emails or planning the next day’s exploring. To the rear, the bright breakfasting kitchen pairs hardwood worktops with contemporary units and comes fully equipped with induction hob, oven, integrated fridge with icebox, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster and cafetière, plus a table for four. A stylish refitted shower room with rainfall corner shower, basin and WC completes this floor.
Upstairs, two generous bedrooms make Kittiwake ideal for families, friends or two couples. The elegant master bedroom to the rear offers lovely sea views, a double bed and coordinated storage, while the large front bedroom has twin windows, two single beds and two additional trundle beds, along with plenty of storage and a small Smart TV.
