The Cortijo Palanco tourist accommodation is located at the foot of one of the faces of the Peña de los Enamorados, in the municipality of Antequera. Its altitude is 874m, close to the A-92 motorway, and nestled in the landscape of Vega Antequerana, halfway between Antequera and Archidona.

It dates back to the 16th century, belonging to the Señorío de la Peña and owned by D. Ignacio Rojas Rojas, Marquis de la Peña.
