Hi Not sure how to respond, yes we are a Hostel where all rooms have ensuite bathrooms with toilets and showers and sinks which are together in 1 room, this is pretty usual!? However apologies for the not so clean experience, this is not great and I hope it wasn't after the Housekeeping has been to the room. Sometimes, in dorms it happens that other guests don't always leave it the same way they found it. Hope to welcome you again in the future. The ASH Team

Dear Nicolas Thank you for your rating and review following your recent visit to The ASH. You mentioned during our conversation you would write negative reviews on all websites available to you, this is your right however you tried to use it as blackmail so you would get your money back. This is something we don't accept at all and therefore I refused to further discuss any other possible resolution with you. Additionally we have been advised that this is not the first time you do this by the organisation through which you booked your stay, during our conversation with you I have made you aware of this feedback we have received about you. In detail about your experience and your above review: We offered to close the window and increase the heating but at that stage you already decided you were leaving and we could do nothing further for you.... You will also notice that the vast majority of our guests find us to be reasonably priced and actually good value for money. 22,5 EUR per person per night in a private 4-bed dorm with ensuite bathroom is a fair and correct rate during a city wide weekend event where we and most other Hostels and Hotels were completely full. And yes we are a Hostel as you write and not a Hotel, the rating on Google is not given by us, but by Google or other guests. A Hostel provides limited service and functional furniture, in order to be able to charge affordable rates. We are sorry we didn't live up to your expectations but can do nothing further for you. It also sounds like you were able to take full advantage of our central location, which is what we like to hear ;) As for your comment about the low water pressure, we're so sorry to hear you had this experience while staying with us. As we actually had an issue with our boiler depressurizing, and during your time here we were waiting on parts to arrive, we can promise you this has since been repaired.
