"The hotel was very nice and the staff were excellent. The free included breakfast was a great cooked breakfast from their restaurant. The hotel lent free disks for sledding in the sand dunes. The decor was excellent with most of the hotel painted in southwest theme by Pablo. The room decor was alos very nice southwest theme. The location was only 15 minutes from White Sands National Park. Their were excellent restaurants such as D. H. LESCOMBES WINERY & BISTRO within walking distance."

"Stayed one night. Used Expedia. Traveled with a small dog. Bed was very comfortable. Free breakfast was amazing. Historic Lodge was beautiful. Grounds are lovely. Room was on the third floor no elevator but lots of stairs. A little challenging for our knees and a dog in tow. Facility is on hill. More stairs. Parking lot is small. Had to park around back and walk to the front. Sink faucet was so loose, had to hold on to fixture to turn the lever. Lol. Third floor hallway window was open so it was freezing up there. The clerk told me it was okay for me to close it as that would help him. Lol. I would stay again, but i would call in person to book a room on the ground floor well in advance. They are busy. Overall nice place."

"The description says cozy, but it’s not a euphemism for small. This is a great place for a family. Very close White Sands and restaurants. The home itself is clean and in a quiet, safe location. Pretty close to the Walmart for groceries. Highly recommend. "

"This property is outstanding! Our family had an amazing time. We especially loved the outdoor fireplace, the UTV trails, and the elk sightings! Communication with the host was great, everyone was prompt and accommodating.We hope to stay again in the future!"
