Top Appalachian Mountains Hotel Reviews
Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort - A Caesars Rewards Destination
8/10 Good
"The whole resort is not very clean… all areas inside, including our “luxury” room had dirt in all corners and cob webs on windows. Water was cut off to the whole resort, from an outside source, for many hours.. would have been nice to be comped for the inconvenience, considering we could not shower for elegant ding reservations."
The Nittany Lion Inn

Music Road Resort Hotel and Inn
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel was really nice. The lobby area is nice and has couches and chairs to sit around in for a break from being in the room. The pool area was fun and clean. There are rocking chairs along the back patio area next to the river which was nice to sit at and relax. My room was spacious and clean. There is a breakfast included each morning which was pretty good and plenty of tables to sit at. We would definitely stay here again. I liked the overall location of this hotel. Easy to get in and out of. We felt safe and front desk staff was nice and helpful."
Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown

"We ended up here because we hated our original hotel so much. Charlie at the front desk was so kind and was able to get us quickly checked in (and early!!) so we could go back to exploring the city. Our room was clean and comfortable with a wonderful view."
Wilderness at the Smokies – River Lodge Suites
10/10 Excellent
"You will need to purchase the Waterpark passes. We paid a fee under $100 for both of us as long as we were there on our visit. You received a wrist band that gets you into your room and Waterparks. also in most places you could use it to buy food and things on the property. Very useful being most of the time your in your bathing suits with flip flops. They have Free buss transportation to take you all of the locations. We purchased the Wilderness version and never were bored. Kept us busy for 3 days and had a fantastic time. The Staff was incredible and wonderful to talk to. They picked them well and they all seemed to work together well. Food was good and served fast everywhere on the resort. We would go again in a heartbeat. Room was clean and water pressure everywhere was great. Is I had kids they would have loved it also. We enjoyed watching the families have such a good time. we do not drink but there was plenty of chances if we wanted to. Paco the tender up on the 3rd floor next to the clear pool, (see thru pool) was incredible. The younger workers there were from all over the world and were all very professional and spoke very good English. The conversations were uplifting and fun with these young folks. I got the chance to practice my Hungarian. I'm American but learned the language in my younger years. Absolutely pleased that we made the choice on going."
