"Everything was amazing!!!!! Lana in the breakfast area was great, Damion the bellhop was amazing, Charlie @ the front desk was amazing. Tony "Birdman" was amazing!!! This place is amazing. I literally planned a vacation just to re visit this location because my last experience was just as good!"

"Hotel is in a great location. You can walk anywhere from here. It is next door to the Mysterious Mansion on River Road. The hotel is dated and carpets need replaced. Smell of mildew permeates the rooms. Bed was comfortable but pillows were worn out. Rugs in elevators beyond nasty. Breakfast included hot and cold. Same thing every day. Eggs appear to be powdered eggs. Everyone was very nice. There is a $16 a day parking fee we were not aware of. Parking is in a deck with overhead clearance only 6 feet in some places. Don’t go if you have an oversized vehicle. Parking lot for $20 a day across the street and free parking on street in front. Some rooms face creek side and bears were seen daily. Walls are thin. Noise is abundant in hotel and on street as it is on busy thoroughfare. Bells will wake you early every morning. Smoking isn’t permitted but always someone on balconies smoking. Have a pool and 2 hot tubs inside. Chemical smell is so strong you can’t stay in there. Have an outdoor pool and firepit. Years ago this place was awesome but has fallen victim to time. I would stay again as it is so convenient but there are other places just as good or better. Everyone was very nice. We never used housekeeping the 4 days we were there. Stopper was broke in shower and it wouldn’t drain. Feet got dirty walking on carpet. Typical hotel stuff. Sad to see how run down it has become. Have been coming here for years. Needs a major overhaul but location is very convenient and price was ok."

"We found the breakfast was very nice but if you’re staying more a few days it is exactly the same every day scrambled eggs, sausages and biscuits. No variation. The pool is wonderful warm so is the hot tub and all super clean. The one thing that lets this hotel hotel down is housekeeping over five days our beds were made once our coffee et cetera was never topped up towels weren’t changed. We phoned reception and were told it would be done but it wasn’t so we ended up using towels from the pool. TVs are not connected to the internet ."

"We absolutely love this resort! We have been to Rod Run twice now in September and we have stayed here both times and plan on staying here every time we come to Rod Run or Pigeon Forge in general. The rooms are huge and absolutely amazing. They are dog friendly which is also really great for us as well! Best stay hands down no questions asked. If youre looking for a quiet stay with an amazing view, this is it!"
