"Thats it"

"The staff from the front office to the monitors of the breakfast were all very kind and helpful! The hotel isn’t a wonderful spot. Beautiful scenery. The hotel itself needs some updating and fixing up. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom shower was very old with holes in the wall and tiles coming down. Parking is pretty difficult. It is a parking garage and it is extremely tight. Numerous cars were parked in two spots. The pool is wonderful when it is up and running. The breakfast is very good with hot and cold items available."

"Everything is pretty great. I will say I think the curtains need laundered or some new ones put up. They look pretty rough. The balconies are amazing! We really enjoy sitting and listening to the river! The rooms are good size and I love that the bathroom separates the beds!"

"The room was small. One of the aueen size beds had full size sheets. We had to ask them to change it. The tub/shower had black stuff falling into it from the wall. The staff was unfriendly. They weren’t rude they just weren’t helpful and seemed like they’d rather not have to deal with customers. The only friendly staff member I found was the lady at the desk when we checked out. The food was bad. The service at Granny Cluckets was even worse. We sat at the table 30 minutes before our server walked by to tell us she would be with us in a little bit. Fifteen minutes later she finally came to take our order. When we got our food we were missing some items. No one apologized for the long wait. No one apologized for us missing part of our order. The manager said they could comp our meal, but I bought breakfast passes on their website and we were using those. The manager said she couldn’t give us back our money because we bought the passes online. I don’t understand that because it was Country Cascades website that I used to buy the passes. The pizza tasted like frozen pizza. We never tried out the “waterpark”. It was very small and too crowded. The hotel was in a good location. That’s about the only positive thing I can say about our stay. "

"Very nice hotel. The trolly allowed us to skip driving down to Gatlinburg. My only complaint was they had no coffee in the lobby. Sure they had coffee pots in the room but waking the family up at 5 am when I rise is no good."
