"This was a great place for family to reconnect. Close to the beach, Marianne’s ice cream. Older folks could sit on a bench at the beach and watch the waves while others walked. We also cooked a ton, and the kitchen supported a lot of activity feeding a good sized holiday crowd."

"Owner thought of everything with chairs for beach.Close walk to beach and day pass was a nice touch too. Recommend providing sugar and creamer and coffee filters. Pillows were flat. Outdoor fire pit would be nice. We would stay again. "

"Perfect location for a family weekend getaway. Beautiful beach views and direct access with plenty of space for us all. Fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves after a stunning sunset and wake to a quiet walk on the beach with your dog. "

"Joe is a superb host--very friendly and helpful without intruding and accommodating when we unexpectedly needed a key for the cottage.The place was clean and bright and had what we needed for lots of cooking and eating there. Some rentals are sterile, and this had color and decor that made it feel warm.Our favorite feature is the little seating area outside. We enjoyed it multiple times. The one downside: the bathroom situation. Other people have mentioned it, and we dealt with it, but I didn't like the lack of privacy."

"Great location by the beach, the property was overall clean though the sofa bed sheets needed some washing. The blankets for the sofa bed also clearly needed washing.The owner was excellent in communicating. Internet worked most of the time. The property was very cute with a great view. It had bed for 3 people. The kitchen utensils were very useful for us. Plenty of surf boards to choose from. The Rio Del Mar beach was fantastic! We had a great time. Owner has a great taste for coastal style decor. Great stay!"
