Aptos is a coastal gem nestled in Santa Cruz County. With its stunning beaches, including Rio del Mar and Seacliff State Beach, it's a haven for sun-seekers and surf enthusiasts. This charming town boasts a laid-back vibe, a mix of boutique shops, and a vibrant dining scene, making it a perfect destination for a relaxing vacation. The iconic Cement Ship at Seacliff Beach is a must-see, and nearby forested parks like Nisene Marks offer hiking and biking trails. Aptos combines natural beauty, small-town charm, and easy access to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk, creating an ideal coastal escape for visitors.
This is not a good place for parties so please keep that in mind when booking this home. We are very respectful of our neighbors and will not tolerate loud noise past curfew and additional guests at the property.

Nearest grocery store – Safeway, Aptos Foods, Deluxe Foods, New Leaf Community Markets (~3–6 min drive).
Capitola Village – charming beachside village with shops & dining (~12–14 min drive).
Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk + Main Beach – classic boardwalk & beach fun (~11 min drive).
The Mystery Spot – quirky gravity‑defying attraction in the redwoods (~15–20 min drive).
The Forest of Nisene Marks State Park – expansive redwood hiking trails (~10–15 min drive).
Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park – iconic redwoods & trails (~13–15 min drive).
Monterey Bay Aquarium – world‑class marine exhibits in Monterey (~45–60 min drive)

-Parking: Guest can park in the garage, in one of the 4 visitor spots, or on the street. Garage parking will be open to guests and must be used on weekends. On weekdays, guests may park in any of the four designated visitor spots or on the street (I'll note this in the check-in instructions).
- We have trash bin collection, pest service (quarterly), and other maintenance serving the property. You may see or hear these service professionals during your stay as they let themselves into the garage or perimeter to service as needed. Please be sure to ask about this before booking if you think it might be an issue for you.

- We are required to stick to our cancellation policy and we suggest adding trip insurance for any last minute issues that may impact your travel (Weather, Illness, etc). We are not able to cancel, move or refund bookings that do not fall in our cancellation policy for any reason.
