Not only inside this home is spectacular, but so is outside of the surrounding. We are located between Downtown San Jose and a famous area called Willow Glen. There are so much parking outside of home that you never need to worry about how many cars are visiting the home
About 3 blocks away from home, enjoy public swimming pool at Ant Swim School, beautiful park, playground, basket ball court/ sports court, also bycicles to rent! Bike to the beauriful downtown Willow Glen and enjoy Palm Haven along the way!

Trip for Tournament

There are numerous door key code numbers to different doors including the basement rooms. With a larger group we found we needed to keep inside access doors open to not continually input codes. The intial reaction we had when checking in was the very strong smell of smoke through the home. Smoking is not allowed, yet it was apparent this has not been enforced as there were multiple cigarette pieces in a dustpan outside the back door. We found the unit to be extremely dirty. There were cobwebs in windows, dirty floor rugs, sticky film on all hardwood flooring, orange mildew in all bathrooms, footprints and dirt on walls, a rusty BBQ, gargabe in the backyard, a dirty sponge for the kitchen sink and no extra toliet paper, paper towel or garbage bags suppied. The outside grabage cans were full on arrival so could not be used. The freezer handle was loose and the bar in the kitchen had not been reinforced for use. The list goes on....we contacted the owner who did send us toliet paper, paper towels and gargbage bags and told us we could buy supplies at a nearby store under his name. He was certain his cleaning staff had been there until late the night before and he gave us access to a cleaning supply closet that ended up having items including dirty wet towels inside. He offered to have the cleaners come, however with our schedule and group size this would have been to difficult. We have stayed in many wonderful VRBO rentals, unfortunately this was a dissapointment.

Great Gathering Place

We had a wonderful time; there were 12 of us; friends and families; it was spacious enough to have separation when we needed it and nice gathering areas when we wanted. The host responded very quickly to every single question. Everyone was impressed when they entered the house.
