"I found after I arrived on 21 Mar that the reservation I made 18 Feb had been cancelled. I also found that no reason was given for the cancellation. Checking my credit card statement and found no refund was given. Not a good way of building goodwill with the public. "

"Lots of stains around the furniture. Minimal towels. Entry ways and pool area trashed"

"The hotel was just okay. Smelled like pot in the hallway. Clean but old and beat up in some areas. The furniture was new. The kitchen was tired. The exterior of the fridge was scratched and rusty. The coffee maker was broken. The pull out was hard as heck. Not a normal mattress. More like a hard hard futon. The bathroom needs a new tub and the mirror wasn't in great shape. The staff at the desk were friendly. Breakfast was well stocked. It was good for what we needed. Probably wouldn't stay here again."

"Only more affordable place I will stay at as a woman alone. Always clean, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are clean. Convenient location. "

"The property needs some upgrades. The beds are basic and not that comfortable (we both woke up with back aches). Our bathroom was not cleaned well, as there was hair in the shower and on the floor that wasn't mine. Also, the toilet would barely flush the first day and completely stopped flushing the second day. We left the keys on the entertainment center and left around 9:30am the day of checkout. The hotel called around noon and asked if we were checking out or staying longer. I recommend checking out at the front desk, if you do stay here."

"This was a good, basic hotel. We stayed for 3 nights as we toured Detroit and it worked well for us. The complimentary breakfast was good. The staff was friendly. I would recommend this hotel."

"My hotel stay was canceled by Residence Inn because after being given 3 different rooms, they all had dead bug over the pull out beds, so the hotel canceled my reservation and told my daughter and i to leave at 10/1030pm after we drove 9hours and 45 minutes to come stay for my mother's birthday party. The gave no alternative accommodations and told me I had to contact Hotels.com to get my money back. Hotels.com advised they would be issuing a refund as after speaking with the front desk person, it was acknowledged that the rooms provided to me had dead bugs on the mattress. To add insult to injury 2 woman over 500+ miles from home kicked out in the dark at a late hour, I see they have put a hold on my debit card today, 3/22 for no reason since you kicked me out. I wouldn't recommend anyone staying and if you stay anyway, check your room thoroughly."
