Lalibela Hotel Guide - Arbatu Ensessa hotels in Lalibela, Ethiopia.

"I really enjoyed my 2 night stay at Hilltop Lodge. The reception and restaurant staff were excellent. My room had a touch of quality about it; spacious with a comfy bed, nice linen, nice bathroom and a spectacular view from the balcony."

"Swell stay, nice views and food, kind staff."

"The furnishings are basic but adequate. While the area has limited dining options, it was very convenient to have a restaurant on site. I would stay here again. The staff was great and the rooms were very clean. I would stay here again."

"The staff was very accomodating and provided great service"

"Nice staff, room was spacious and private."

"Friendly staff, well-appointed rooms, functional wi-fi, great view. Mosquitoes at night and no screens drove me batty. Lalibela has flies during the day and mosquitoes at night, so other guest houses may have the same issue."

"The hotel is in a nice and quiet area. The staff are very kind and accomodating. The owner is very friendly and had a nice conversation with us. Highly recommend for your stay in Lalibela!"

"Excellent host, very accommodating, clean room, and best WiFi in Lalibela!"

"Great location, modern rooms. Friendly and attentive staff. Breathtaking views..."

"The room I booked online was occupied (!!!) I have been told “sorry!” and given very poor quality room with much low value. Of course, my money for the nice room have never been returned."

"The accomodations were very nice with large comfortable bed. Staff are amazing."

"Beautiful scenery of life and nature. "

"Of all the hotels the i have stayed at all over the world this has been my best experience. If you are planning any excursions please use the travel guide Belay. He is very knowledge about the history past and presnt of this area with reasonable rates."

I stayed at this hotel in Sep 2023. It takes 30-60 mins from the airport of Lalibela. Since there is no public transport from the airport, you need to book a lift...

"Prachtige locatie, mooi uitzicht. Echt leven tussen de locals. Bijzondere ervaring.

"Avoid this scam! We booked this hotel and payed in advance with Expedia. As we checked out the hotel asked for 100 USD for 2 nights which is way higher than it should be. As of now(2020/01/25) the hotel claims that they don't work with Expedia. The host speaks only numbers and a few English words making communication impossible and scamming quite possible. We asked to book a shuttle to the airport the day before but they only called the shuttle service 30 mins before departure. The shuttle...
