"This was an interesting BnB. Located in a beautiful residential area facing the sea, it is a work in progress. Once we were on the floor of the BnB, it was amazing. Modern, beautifully furnished, amazing breakfast. Hoping the building will one day be the entire BnB—it is great now-but will be magnificent. The woman who owns it has beautiful taste. Loved this place!"

"This was a simple, pleasant, modestly priced B&B, run by a pleasant young couple, in a historic neighborhood of Agrigento. It is about 2 miles from the Valley of the Temples, the 5C BC Greek temple complex. It is also within walking distance of “Ruga Reali”, a restaurant where we had one of the best meals of our 3 week Italy trip. There were several other nice looking restaurants in the town square as well. Finding Donna Teresa can be difficult. The iPhone map app struggled. It is better to key in these coordinates into the map app of your choice: 37.312183 N, 13.572448 E The real issue is parking. What Expedia described as “top-rated parking for a hassle-free stay” is actually on street parking in a dense urban neighborhood where you will be lucky to find a place. That’s pretty close to a lie, and I’m pretty sure it wasn’t that nice young couple, whose English was basic, who came up with that wording. Plan on parking in the private paid parking garage about 300m away. Drop your bags off at the guest house first so you don’t have to roll them over 300m of cobblestone."

"Stunning property- really beautiful touches and design. Pool was great, breakfast was delicious, fresh and generous, staff were super attentive and helpful. And location was perfectly tucked away but accessible to everything close by. Real luxury touches! Only thing that would have improved it was having option for dinner on site but this was known and communicated very clearly and they were very helpful with local restaurant recommendations. Would stay again in a heartbeat"

"The Villa Athena is an amazing luxury hotel with an amazing location. With a direct view of Greek temples, as well as private access, sets this property apart from others. In addition the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. We also enjoyed our private balcony with direct access to the property and pool area. The staff was welcoming and attentive. I like the size of the resort as it feels more intimate and personalized. We also took advantage of the amazing restaurant as well. We will definitely return for another stay in the future."
