A dump in disguise. Deceptively well maintained front entrance and lobby (presumably bc they somehow continue to receive business as a wedding/party venue), but the majority of the hotel is a different story. Extremely dated, poorly maintained rooms with stained rugs, inoperable phones that appear to be serving as ancient relics, unsightly furniture that looks like it’s falling apart, the list goes on and on. To add to these issues that could be easily addressed at relatively little cost, much of the staff are unfriendly (we did have a couple of nice waitstaff at Shenanigans, which is the only reason I’m giving this place two stars) and unhelpful. They’re charging way too much per night for this dilapidated dump.

Wonderful hotel, not far from the center of town, with free parking and free breakfast, which was a full sit down meal.
The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. Rooms were spacious and well kept and stocked

"This was our first time staying here and we booked when visiting family. My mum recommended here and we were not disappointed. Beds were comfy, food was excellent and all staff went over and above. Only regret is we didn't stay longer and we will be back next year for sure. Thank your whole team ..."

"The bedroom was very clean and the bed was comfortable but the dining room was very uninviting and the breakfast was barely edible. However, that said, the reception staff were very helpful and courteous and overall it was good value for money."
