Excellent location just outside of the city center for those who enjoy a little peace and quiet. Bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was strong. Unfortunately, the sauna was out of order during our stay and there was an unpleasant odor from the bathroom, likely due to the plumbing system, but nothing to do about that. The staff were kind and helpful, and the pool is a real perk after a long day of walking and exploring. The included breakfast was very good and substantial by Italian standards. The restaurant and bar are adequate, but there are plenty of more affordable options in the immediate area.

"This is a beautiful historic property. The instructions to get inside were clear though I had a bit of an issue finding the key card slot - it was placed outside the hallway entry which confused me. AC worked and they were reasonably responsive to any requests I made. Allowed me to leave my bags ..."
