Great place to stay, felt rustic yet upscale. The location put you within a 45 minute drive of many Tuscan sights and towns. The restaurant offered some of the best dinners we had in Italy with a true farm to table experience. The staff were extremely helpful with suggestions for the area

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property towards the end of my visit to Italy. I stayed four nights and used it as a home base to do day trips to Cortona and to Arezzo. I also took time to just relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The staff were wonderful and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely terrace. The food and the wines at their restaurant were fantastic! I definitely recommend a visit!

This villa is beautiful and the staff are fantastic! It's like a little classy Ralph Lauren boutique hotel without the pretentiousness. Alberto and the rest of the staff were so delightful and completely service oriented. All they wanted was for us to have a terrific stay there. The entire place is full of quality features and details of excellence. They've put a lot of time and money into making this place truly special. We had planned on eating in town, but we were too impressed with everything that we ate dinner in their greenhouse restaurant. Terrific meal and wine! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We loved EVERYTHING - this is a beautiful place in every way. Welcome treats, a lovely pool, gorgeous rooms. Alberto is a perfect host & you’ll be friends forever by the time you leave. The onsite restaurant is wonderful & it's especially relaxing to savor breakfast outdoors. Honestly can't wait to return!

The proprietor (Alberto) and his staff did not leave any opportunity unused to care for us and make us feel at home. Food was delicious, the property is gorgeous and well maintained! Rooms are spacious and beautiful. Great starting point for many road trips to the most beautiful hill and mountain villages of Tuscany!

The absolute best B&B.

I can’t imagine a better place to stay anywhere. This beautiful property was so welcoming and helpful. After the free parking, we were helped with our bags to our room which was large and fully equipped. We didn’t know at the time, but there’s a restaurant on the property And we were so tired from our traveling that we took advantage of eating there. Our dinner was phenomenal from the free extra treat in the beginning of the meal to the unique appetizers and dinners. It was a mouthwatering experience. They even gave us a free half bottle of wine which we had with dinner. If I was close by, I’d eat at this restaurant often. And if we come back to this area, we’ll definitely stay more than one night. In the morning we had the best breakfast I have ever had at a B&B or a hotel. The breakfast was covered with our room no extra charges. The breakfast came with a large amount of cakes and cookies and pastries. We could have eggs done anyway we’d like, Scrambled omelette whatever. We also had juices, coffee and tea. I can’t stop thinking about how good this breakfast was. You will not find a better place to stay anywhere in the area. I promise you.

Returning to Il Cipresso was like coming home! We could live here! Absolutely beautiful place to stay longer time and have the famous and less famous Tuscan hill towns with breathtaking views at a short distance away (0.5-1.5 hrs drive). 5 hrs drive

The most fabulous B& B anywhere in the world

This bed & breakfast was the best ever that we have stayed at. Alberto and his family treated us like their own family. The facility is outstanding. The friendliness is exceptional, the amenities are excellent. You could not find another B& B anywhere in the world that would be better. The accommodations and staff are the best you will find anywhere. The food was extremely tasty and well prepared and abundant. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area. This is one of a kind B & B

O local é incrível!!!! Os quartos são confortáveis e a vista é maravilhosa! O café da manhã é servido na mesa, no primeiro dia tivemos um pequeno problema, pois nos trouxeram apenas bolo, pera e capuccino, a atendente não nos deu as opções que tínhamos para pedir, resumindo, não como bolo e fiquei com fome. No dia seguinte fui questionando as opções do cardápio, pois li nos comentários aqui que era bem variado. Após questionar nos trouxera frios, pães, manteiga e suco, tudo estava delicioso! Aconselho os funcionários a informarem as opções disponíveis para o café iu colocar em um cardápio, assim evita que outros hospedes fiquem sem comer como eu. Tirando o evento café do primeiro dia, o hotel é delicioso e o restaurante do hotel tem a melhor bisteca que já comi!
