We arrived with two young children on an intense heat wave day to check in for a confirmed, family room booked through Expedia. At check-in we were told the air conditioning in our room was broken. They made no attempt to inform us in advance of the issue or rebook us into a different room. The building has a great Italian old architecture, but beautifully done interiors. The room I stayed in had its own steam room, its own sauna and a Jacuzzi and a living room. "Terribile. Esperienza da incubo, ci hanno rovinato la serata.
Arriviamo alle 18:00 per il check-in e non c’è nessuno. Nessun messaggio, nessuna email, nessun preavviso con il codice di accesso. Nulla. Siamo costrette a chiamare un numero, restando fuori con tutte le valigie, mentre una persona al telefono ci chiede i documenti prima ancora di darci il codice. Situazione già assurda.
Entriamo finalmente in stanza e la televisione non funziona. Zero canali, completamente inutilizzabile....

"The service was excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is beautiful and located in a stunning location. The pool was losing tiles which made it look a little rundown. The rooms were cleaned every day and were maintained well, however the rooms were smaller than expected- didn’t bother us too much as we didn’t stay in the room much anyway. Overall, great hotel!"
