The location was the biggest advantage right in the heart of Armagh and beside the bus station.
The room was spacious but 'dated'. Bar staff very friendly. Directions to the car park are ....ok, but there is no actual sign for the hotel at eye level when you get to the back gate.
Fantastic room, v clean and modern, spotlessly maintained, staff very friendly and helpful, well situated and convenient for driving and walking! Definitely recommend and will definitely stay again!
We had a brilliant weekend and we were looked after very well by all the staff we will definitely be returning and highly recommend the hotel for great stay..

Characterful hotel, comfortable beds, intimate bar and excellent friendly staff and service
Hotel was well located, friendly and very attentive. Only negative was the room was chilly and asked for heat to be put on, did not work so they left us a blow heater. Other than that lovely food and room was very comfortable. Would stay again.
On entering hotel we were greated with a very warm welcome, even the fact that i called hotel to say i was a bit lost, a lovely lady came out and waved so we could see her, rooms were neat and tidy, staff very friendly and even secured a table for us for evening meal, breakfast was great, first time to stay but would stay again 5 stars from us
Lovely staff, large rooms, comfortable and clean beds, great atmosphere in a fantastic location within walking distance of all the sites. I’d happily stay there again, although the great atmosphere does mean it’s a bit dated, there are lots of stairs and the elevator wasn’t working when I was there. Food was great and lots of restaurants are close by, the breakfast will keep you going and there are vegetarian options. If you have not visited Armagh, seat of both the Catholic and Church of Ireland bishops, each with an amazing cathedral, not to mention the Armagh Observatory, it is a must visit location in beautiful Northern Ireland.
Unfortunately our room was cold in the evening and even though we let the staff know nothing was done. Our room keys didn't work the next morning but they were quickly repaced nlby the receptionist. Hotel is showing its age but is in a great location particularly when travelling by bus. Breakfast was good - at £149 for a twin room a bit expensive but I appreciate it was the Georgian Festival weekend.

Parking available in the back. No (working) lift and lots of stairs. The restaurant was full during mealtimes, which appeared to be mostly locals. The food was filling and the waitstaff were friendly. I did get questioned more than once by staff (same woman both times) as to what my business was on their property. On the one hand it was good they were making sure people belonged there but on the otherhand it was off-putting as I was treated like I was trespassing.

The hotel was well located in the centre of Armagh. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was free secure parking on site. The room was adequate and the bed was comfortable.
Dislikes.
The hotel was very rundown and it needs a lot of money spent on it. It was advertised as having a lift but it was out of order which was a pain as we were on the 2nd floor. The towels supplied in the ensuite were on the small side and there were a number of cracked tiles.
Friendly welcome Hotel was very busy due to bus trip and we had a long wait for our meal. We were told there would be a delay of half an hour but it was an hour before we got our meal. We are sure service would be better when quiet but surely they could have prepared a couple of meals and slowed down the service to the bus party
