"Beautiful location nice comfortable rooms. Dinner was lovely but portions a little small for my liking. Hotels own wine was lovely. Breakfast adequate but a bit basic. Very friendly staff"

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Booked us a wine tasting and tour at check in. Recommended restaurants in the area. Breakfast buffet was delicious, lots of fresh food choices and an omelette station. Great pool area with breathtaking views of the Douro River. Comfy sun loungers. Our room was clean and spacious. Only downside was a lot of steps up and down from our room to the restaurant and pool. Not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. "

Breakfast buffets are numerous, plentiful and delicious. We enjoyed our room with a balcony overlooking the river very much. "
