Nice weekend getaway. Very comfortable. The only minor issue I had is that the hot water had a weird smell but it did not take away from the total experience. Would recommend again.
Cozy & secluded cottage type house that is nestled away in a private forest! We were able to take advantage of private hiking trails & plenty of space for everyone! Would recommend highly to anyone :)
We had a great time with our short vacation here. The cottage is very clean, maintained and there is a ton of land to explore. They provide many things that you will use. Next time we book, we won't pack as much stuff because of it. Immediate responses from the owner Adam, before, during and after our stay. Places to go, Riverbowl, Pulled Smokehouse, Emporium and Screaming Heads.
Lots of privacy with sufficient amenities within the property. The host was prompt in responding to all questions before and during the stay . Overall a great place to unwind with family.

We stayed at this cozy cottage in mid-September, and it was the perfect getaway from the city. The location is stunning—surrounded by beautiful walking trails and just a short stroll from a breathtaking waterfall. The quiet and natural setting made it easy to unwind.
The sauna was a lovely touch and added to the relaxation, although we did run into a few minor issues with it. Thankfully, Adam was incredibly communicative and always happy to help, which made a big difference.
Nights got quite cold without someone tending to the woodstove, but when the fire was going, the smell of burning wood was absolutely amazing. It added a rustic charm to the whole experience. The beds weren’t the most comfortable, but the view of the stars at night more than made up for it—truly magical.
If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with nature at your doorstep and a host who genuinely cares, this place is worth considering.
Beautiful place. Off the beaten trackBe willing to maintain a wood stove in the cold weather Worth it. Very comfortable and everything you need is provided Adam gets back to you quickly. Great host
Loved our stay. The cottage was lovey and had everything we needed. Everything was easy. The sauna was so nice, we loved the trails, and spent lots of time playing in the river. Thank you Adam!
We had a family wedding to attend and this cottage was a perfect short distance to the venue. When we weren't attending family events it gave us the perfect spot for our immediate family to spend time together and relax. All of our needs were taken care of by our hosts and we enjoyed the privacy of the location. We especially enjoyed relaxing with our morning coffee on the front porch!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was so private and peaceful. Other than the sound of the odd snowmobile in the distance, we didn’t hear as much as a hint of civilization. The cottage was bright and clean. We loved the wood stove and the outside wood fired sauna. We even managed to dig out the outdoor fire pit for a winter campfire. Lovely private trails as well. Check in was simple and Adam was very quick to respond to our inquiries. Case and point, we had an issue with the kitchen faucet and he was quick to come out and fix it. We highly recommend and hope to come back again sometime. Thanks for a lovely stay.
Very comfortable, clean, amazing property. Great cross country skiing. We had a blast of nasty weather and the power went out, Adam had the generator up and going quickly.
Overall a great getaway from city life. And the stars at night were spectacular.
Thanks for everything, look forward to another stay in the fall.
Sara, Craig and Sam the dog.
First impressions: the long driveway in to the cottage provides for a very private location, but within a vast clearing. Cottage was super clean and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies. I brought my mountain bike with me and was thrilled to ride on the gravel roads (I wasn’t able to ride the walking trails as they were way too muddy at this time of year).
Adam was very pleasant to work with and provided timely responses to any emails or texts.
Will definitely stay at this cottage again.
We had a pleasant stay in this very peaceful setting, a nice hike down one of the trails to the beautiful Magnetewan River and a good base from which to visit family. There were a few issues but Adam promptly addressed them. Many thanks!Lisa and Sandy
We had an awesome week at the cottage! Very clean, and the owner was quick to respond to messages. The kids had a great time on the trails and out to the river. The dogs loved the space to run around in. Would definitely book again!
A very nice property, peaceful and secluded. All the necessary services provided. Adam, the property manager, was great to communicate with and responded quickly to all my questions. Very pet friendly with lots of land/trails for our dog to explore. Would definitely stay there again, if in the area.
