I sm a returning guest.. the host. Mark, has always been Amenable and helpful I have enjoyed my stay at the farmhouse and I love the back yard view the country setting … The environment is peaceful and tranquil . I love the location and not far ftom the beach.

Business Trip in Avila

This was exactly what we needed for the 8 week trip to work in Avila Beach area. House was minutes away from Pismo Beach and Arroyo Grande with plenty of restaurants to chose from and still far enough away for peace and quit. Beautiful views from the back yard every morning watching the sun rise from behind the mountains. Property owner was extremely nice and helpful when needed.

Farm house on Halcyon

Very quiet, beautiful view of hills. Large avocado tree and bushes in front yard . Older farm house, I think it was quaint. Manager was kind and helpful . I liked the location. I wanted to be away from the business of town . My dog loved it too 💕

Home Away From Home With a Rural Feel

The location of the cottage is removed from the hustle and bustle of town, and yet, only ten minutes from the closest beach. There is a fenced back yard with a barbecue and fire pit. Beyond the back yard there is a large expanse filled with oak trees. Our dog loved her daily walks down the hill where she could sniff and dig around for critters. Mark has a second rental, next door, on the same property. It was fun to get to know our neighbors and our dogs had fun together as well! The neighboring beach towns were fun to explore and we found lots of favorite spots for seafood, cinnamon buns, and walks on the beach.

Very relaxing and quiet

We stayed for two months and couldn't have enjoyed it more. It is an actual farmhouse so is a bit rustic. It is a beautiful and quiet area, which is what we were looking for. We saw peacocks out the back window in the morning. Mark and Peri are great to work with. Highly recommend! Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful stay on the Mesa

We had a wonderful month staying at the Farmhouse. Beautiful view from the backyard. The house was cozy and well appointed. Near shopping, wineries and all the fun attractions in the Pismo Beach/ Arroyo Grande area. I loved being on the Mesa you have more sun there than at sea level. Hosts were very responsive and helpful.

Cute & Simple

The farm house is simple and cute and comfortable for a small family. The home has a beautiful backyard and large acreage to walk around in. The evenings are beautiful as the sky is sparkling with stars. The home is comfortable and nice and has all the needs for a long stay. Peri was great to work with and always was available for questions or anything we may have needed. Its a great stay for a farm like experience.

New to AG

We were in the process of building a new home in Arroyo Grande, and were new to the area. We had sold our home in Ventura County and needed a place to stay for 4 months with our 2 dogs. This place worked perfectly, and gave us the opportunity to acclimate to the area , while monitoring the progress of the home build. The Mesa is an amazing part of AG that we did not even know existed, and we found the perfect 4 mile walk that showed us the beauty of the area, along with meeting some very friendly neighbors. The views of the mountains and the ocean is fantastic. The farmhouse was rustic, but quaint, and when we did have a few issues during our stay both Peri and Mark (Owner) were quick to respond, and address our needs. We will now be living near the Village, but our time at the farmhouse and the Mesa will always be a fond memory!
