"This hotel is perfectly situated by all the action-well, as much action as you want in Charlevoix. The receptionist/reservationist/bartender, Joanna made us feel right at home. Walking distance from restaurants and the river, this beautifully appointed hotel is hip and has beautiful interiors. We will be back!!"
"Amazing! We lived in Charlevoix 55 yrs ago as newlyweds in the Coast Guard. Husband spoke with Earl Young to rent the Half House. Couldn’t afford at 150 mo!!! ! So this was soo fun. Beach down the hill, town is walk able everywhere. It’s pretty much original so enjoy the history of it!!! We’ll be back!"

"We had an excellent stay . The house lay out was perfect for our family of ten , three adult couples and four children . The families with two kids each took the upstairs suite which had 4 bedrooms and two baths . Grandparents stayed downstairs with third bath . The house was well stocked with stuff you need like dishwashing detergent , laundry supplies etc . Location was great ! Short walk or golf cart ride to sandy beach. We happened to be here during a festival so were able to see the air show and fireworks perfectly .Quiet neighborhood with nice neighbors about a 5 minute ride from downtown. Super convenient ! We would definitely stay here again ! "

"Perfect stay in Charlevoix in a very nice neighborhood just a 10 minute walk to Lake Michigan, a 20 minute walk to downtown, or a 20 minute walk to Lake Charlevoix. Owner/property manager was extremely helpful. He has a paddleboard that we used and that turned out to be a lot of fun for all of us. House was very clean, everything worked well. There was plenty to do in and around Charlevoix like fishing, and mushroom houses, and feed the fish and hiking and golf and swimming and boating. Already planning another trip up to this location."

"A picture may be worth a thousand words but a picture is still a picture and can never quite capture the setting. This is certainly the case with this cabin. It is cozy without being claustrophobic and roomy without being sterile. It is comfortable and up to date and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.The care taken to provide interesting toys and games for younger children was not something we had experienced before. There were also outdoor games which we appreciated and used. We don’t often spend time in the yard of a rental but that was not the case with the cabin. The porches and yard are inviting and not fussy. The neighborhood was very nice and even the neighbors were quite friendly. It was great for evening walks. As beautiful as the Michigan beaches were, having access to the private beach which was only a few blocks away was an asset – one which we made good use of. Oh, if you have an interest in architecture, take note of the walls which are purposely canted in at a slight angle! Finally, upon our return home we received this text from our daughter: "I had the best time in Michigan. Thank you again for planning a trip to such a lovely place! I can’t wait go back.” No doubt the cabin was a big part in creating the “best time”!"
