"Lovely cottage, in a truely wonderful location. This home is rather arty and unique. Tastefully restored with love by the owner. It is small but plenty big enough for one mum and a lanky son. We thought it could have been a little cleaner; crumbs under cushions, sticky balcony, but as my son said "not bad enough to complain about". The kitchen has everything you need - I took my cook pot so didn't use it much. There is a shop in the village for basics and a Co-op 10 minutes away in Blanaeu...

Exceeded expectations in terms of location, accommodation, facilities etc. A great deal of thought has been put in by owners to enhance the comfort of your stay, a lovely home from home. Lovely short walk to a fabulous beach, and not far from Portmadock where there are shops for every need. Would highly recommend, and sure like us you will just want to go back again. "I had a great stay at Elen’s place. The welcome pack was very welcome after a long train journey. The house was spotlessly clean, the kitchen was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. It was so quiet I had a lovely night’s sleep. The house is in a very convenient position just off the High Street, near to supermarkets, take aways and places to eat out. I will definitely book to stay here again."
